“Very good quality trousers although they came out long in the leg for my average-height daughter; maybe look at doing different leg lengths in the future? Delivery time was excellent and no problems with ordering or payment. Price for the trousers was good; I needed them quickly so paid for the express delivery which obviously pushed the price up. Overall - a good product at a reasonable price; efficient ordering and delivery.”

“Preferred the old shop format. Standard post & packing charge of £4.99 is unfair as some items the cost of a jiffy bag & a stamp would be less than £1.50 so people buying smaller items are being overcharged this cost & I guess they subsidises what would be a higher cost to those purchasing bigger items.”

“Item was sent without any postage being attached. Bill for £2 received to collect. Will be submitting a bill to scout shops to cover postage and 20 miles of travel to collect.”

“Service from scouts shops themselves was good however not impressed with the delivery service used (DHL), was told a package was on way then nothing to say package had been delivered when i returned home the package was delivered to my garden as no one was in and had been left in plain site of the road!!”

“First time using Scout Store and the process was straight forward, quick and painless. The only gripe was the fact that Scout Store sends shipment notification with a link to DHL tracking WITHOUT a tracking number, making tracking impossible. DHL sent tracking details on the day of delivery which wasn't a problem as I was at home all day, had I not been it would have been helpful to reschedule delivery as I was away on vacation for the preceding 7 days.”

“Website was simple and easy to use and price was good. However delivery wasn’t great. I only ordered a few badges and a keyring but it came signed for delivery by DHL which was very inconvenient. Why not use Royal Mail signed for as its much easier to get to a Royal Mail depot, rearrange delivery, or get it delivered to a local collect point than with DHL. In the end ironically DHL just stuck the package through my letterbox so it could’ve just been sent in the normal post second class, which would probably make it cheaper.”

Hi Micheal, Sorry that you found our delivery wasn't great, we do all of our deliveries through DHL to keep the prices as low as possible for our customers (you get a better rate for putting it all through one carrier). “Delivery is quick and great. I think Scout store is really good. However I think a good next step for the Scout store would be to sell a range of products that are suitable for outdoors use - like robust water bottles, outdoors bags, real waterproofs (not showerproof!). No one needs scout branded jeans really - but scout branded tech tops for hiking would be ideal. Outdoors fleeces would be great - because when hoodies get wet on camp they stay wet! Lets think more 'outdoorsy' and more functional. Sale items are often really good and thought the pride range was great. I'd like to be able to order a personalised purple flag with group logo.... :)”
