I ordered a small and received a large, and no clear instructions on returns.

This isn't an issue with the quality of the product as I don't have it yet.... the DHL delivery is shocking and if others are experiencing the same issues I strongly recommend you reconsider who you use!

Item was sent without any postage being attached. Bill for £2 received to collect. Will be submitting a bill to scout shops to cover postage and 20 miles of travel to collect.

Our order which should have taken 3-5 working days - in time to be taken to WSJ - took 4 weeks ! and then was wrong and I will have to return

Hi Sue, Please accept our apologies we looked into this and the bespoke scarfs do have the timelines explained in the description (they take 4-6 weeks to produce and deliver). We are working on a solution to make it even clearer and hopefully that will make sure it is less confusing. Thanks Scout Store

Hi, Apologies that on this occasion we couldn't help I know on our system the order goes into a pick queue and can't be cancelled (we are trying to improve our back end to offer this option in the future). We will feed back the delayed delivery. Thanks Scout Store

Have placed 2 orders in recent months, the first for T shirt and shorts - wrong sizes delivered for both - shorts replaced quicly (size 4 years had been sent rather than size 40). T shirt reorder fell into a black hole, Recent order was for badges, which again fell into a black hole. Not impressed

Hi Tom, Firstly let me apologise incorrect items on orders is really rare and we do our best to minimise as much human error as possible! Really angry no UK scout shop could supply light weight short sleeve women's explorer blouses in the run up to WSJ 24 and UK contingent only supplied one per participant this time! Ended up ordering long sleeved heavy weight blouse and cutting sleeves off for my daughter. Not impressed scout shop! And original order for light weight short sleeve blouse was promised and then we had to chase it up only to be told it wouldn't be fulfilled and we would be refunded... shambles!

Hi, Firstly we would like to apologise for your experience, I just had a look and we have the short sleeve in stock so not sure why you couldn't get it. With regards to the one supplied that is a UK contingent decision unfortunately it gets more expensive to buy all the kit and they want to keep the cost as low as possible. I find the uniform is overly expensive (23 pounds for a short sleeve shirt) and having spent 45 pounds in total on line to then charge me for delivery was just ridiculous. Also having chosen the standard delivery of 3 to 5 day as that fitted with my working week, to find a we are sorry we missed you delivery notice the day after the order shipped was not helpful as I have not been able to collect the parcel from my neighbour for 3 days as I was working away from home.

We do try to keep our prices as fair as possible and just this week we lowered the price of our uniform trousers. Our delivery terms are within 3-5 working days in this case we have just been too efficient and we apologise again for this. Hi, I got information via the scout store website on delivery and it's stated that products will be delivered via Royal Mail. However, when it was sent to my country in Malaysia, it wasn't sent via Royal Mail (will be passed to Pos Malaysia) and due to that, the local private courier (not Pos Malaysia) here needs to pay a sum as tax before products can be released to the said courier for delivery and of course I needed to pay for the tax. That was the first delivery and as there were still pending orders (Gilwell Scarfs; out of stock), I contacted the scout store via email to inform about my predicament and to request for my scarfs to be sent via Royal Mail. However, when the scarfs arrived, they were still sent using the local private courier and I had to pay the tax for the 2nd time. I have paid £30 for delivery and another £65 for tax. It's really disappointing as I didn't get the service which I thought could have been easily facilitated by the scout store.

Dear Tuck, Thank you for leaving a review, unfortunately on international orders the customer has to pay national customs tax. There is no way around this however I believe you can claim back the VAT from your customs department. Thanks Scout Store

Horrible customer service and ordering procedure- do not order!!! I ordered some gifts for Scout leaders and received email confirmation that that they had been dispatched but received no further information re: delivery and NEVER received the items. Repeated emails for information went unacknowledged and unanswered. Called customer service and was told it was my fault as I hadn't used the correct email address- although I had used the address indicated for customer service inquiries INDICATED ON THEIR EMAIL CONFIRMATION!!! (Sorry- I should have divined an alternate email address with which to contact them!). At any rate, I asked for a refund as I could no longer use the gifts for Scout leaders since the end of the year event had already passed (and I had to hurriedly purchase alternate gifts!). Now I received my credit card statement and realised they only credited the amount of the order back to me AND NOT THE SHIPPING COST, so I've basically paid for them to NOT SHIP MY ORDER TO ME! Absolutely outrageous and no way to run an online shop!

The flag cost to much. It took to long to arrive. And was not trackable. And i was not able to cancel the order once a cheaper option was avalable. I will not be buying anything for my troop from the scout store agin. Do not buy this flag. And do not get it personizsed

We would always recommend that if you were not happy with the initial price to have a look around before you place the order. The flags are created by a third party supplier who don't have the ability to provide the tracking information, as soon as we dispatch we do provide the tracking information. Thanks Scout Store

Took nearly 3 weeks to get an order. I had to reorder and send the original order back when it eventually turned up. 4 calls later and a huge amount of stress im not impressed.
