I can only echo the previous comments. They take payment immediately even when no stock, and provide neither delivery nor any communication. They do answer the phone (but not emails) and give a refund, but I shouldn't have to complain and they shouldn't accept orders which they can't deliver. I have received actual deliveries from them in the past, but I won't be using again and would not recommend anyone to use them until they sort themselves out.

My order was delivered next door. It was left on their back door step, there was no note to say this had been done. I was in all day when it was delivered. I left extra instructions that if nobody in could be left in my green house in the back garden. Really poor delivery service.

The product arrived fine and carefully packed, but I payed extra for next day delivery and it did no arrive the next day (I put in the order on Sunday, so Monday was the next working day for the order to go through so therefore it should have arrived Tuesday, but it didn't arrive until Wednesday which meant that I couldn't give it to my brother for his birthday to take back to France with him... disappointing).

I am very disappointed with the service and the lack of replies to my emails! I have had good service from you in the past, but on this occasion please note the following:- 1. I have not received any whisky from you at all, although I have paid £74 on March 5th! 2. I was unable to purchase the two whiskies that were advertised. 3. The delay has meant that I have missed the birthday that it was meant for. It seems incredible that you could ask for feedback when I neither have received my order, or have been recompensed for it. I was so happy last time that I recommended you to many of my friends and relatives at my son's wedding. Now, that feeling has disipated. I hope to receive the Glendullan from you, and the remainder refunded. Susan Taylor

I still haven't got the goods. Money has been extracted from my account. I have had no written acknowledgement of my order, nor a delivery date. Is this some kind of con? Cancel the order as of 11.51am 13/12/13, and refund my money in full with 15% compensation, or I will notify the constabulary.

the whisky is fine cant understand why it was not in its box just bubble wrapped i have never bought this whisky that it wasnt in a box as it is a gift i am not happy that i will just have to wrap it i didnt think whisky could be sold like this well i live and learn

I placed an initial order with this company, and sent an email asking for confirmation that the whiskies ordered were of the release date illustrated on the website. I received no response to my query, only an email saying the whiskies had been shipped. I telephoned and spoke with Mr Sims, who was very pleasant, and he explained that emails to Shop4whisky.com take three days to reach him from another department, which filters out routine messages. Mr Sims assured me that, should the whiskies not be as described, I could return them for refund or replacement. The parcel duly arrived, and both bottles were not as described: one being of a quite different brand from the same distillery which produces the whisky I ordered. I telephoned Mr Sims, who apologised for the "picking" error, which he said was down to him personally, and he has agreed to uplift the original parcel, retain the whisky with the wrong release date, and forward the correct brand which should have been "picked" from stock. Mr Sims said this was his first "picking" error in over two years. I thanked him for his proposed resolution of the error, and await collection. I reminded Mr Sims that you never get a second chance to make a first impression.

Poor because the express delivery failed. I ordered the whisky on the Wednesday afternoon, express delivery should have guaranteed it would arrive in two days but it did not arrive till the Monday
