“SCAM. I sold an item in 03/02/21 as experience . The buyer paid e confirmed the transaction until now I haven't received my money....I can't contact the website by email because there is none to contact it. Completely SCAM!”

“Rubbish! The Shpock wallet takes way to long to transfer to your bank! Theres no excuse for this.. item delivered safely but I have to wait for my money... I wont be using again.. deleting the app.”

“I can go on about all the bad reasons you should not use shpock, but I won't. Ther are other similar (better) apps out there. Just avoid this one if you value your money, time and effort. Simple as that”

“I was scammed out if £265. Id made a purchase from a seller and paid through shpock wallet. The seller cancelled the deal as he said that he prefared using bank transfer as his Shpock wallet froze his account as he couldn't get his money out! Within a couple of days I realised that this seller didn't have these items of sale. I contacted Shpock who only sent me a message apologising that this had happened and removed this seller from thier site then asked me to contact my bank and report it to Action Fraud. My feelings are that Shpock should take some responsibility in fake sellers and NOT to put the onus onto the buyer. Since I've been scammed I'm very reluctant to use Shpock”

“I wish I had read reviews for Shpock before I committed myself to buying a drop-leaf table. I bought and paid £40 for it, and waited 3-4 days and heard nothing. I wrote to the seller, then received a note from Shpock that the table had been sold previously. It should never have been on their site for sale if that is the case. Now I have to wait, for how long, to get my money back, if ever! Please think carefully and read the reviews before getting involved with Shpock.”

“Shpock make this app harder and harder for the sellers who keep the app alive. The process to get your money in your bank account is way too long. From the date of sale to actually receiving funds, it could take up to two weeks. Shpock say the bank transfer should take up to 5 days, why? So they can accumulate interest of your money. I used to love this app for the quick sales you could make but they just constantly make it harder for the seller and easier for the buyer. I will never use this rubbish app again and advise anyone else not to. Especially as a seller. Shame on you Shpock & Adyen.”

“SCAM AVOID Half the items listed on there are already sold however you can still buy and pay for these items, Shpock will then keep your money for as long as possible so they can profit off the interest I waited 9 days for a refund. Customer service are a waste of time and just send you copy and paste responses.”

“They are the worst online sales market out there. They assume things are fake and block your account. I sell legitimate items and they say they are fake with no evidence to support their claims. I have provided evidence to check out my validity and even offered them to contact the police or trading standards to which so far they have declined. I have lost money due to their incompetence”

“Just lost yet another sale because of Shpocks recent change of rules. Now if anyone wants to buy an item I simply copy and paste my item onto gumtree and tell Shpock That item has been sold. I WILL NOT BE BULLIED INTO BEING FORCED TO POST MY ITEMS. EVERYTHING WAS GREAT BEFORE, BUYERS CAME, COLLECTED ITEM, THEN PAID ME..PERFECT. NOW EVERY SELLER HAS THE HASSLE OF WRAPPING, BOXING, ACQUIRING PACKAGING AT THEIR COST. THEN ITS A WAITING GAME TO SEE IF YOU GET PAID FOR YOUR EFFORTS. If Shpock are reading this, my advice is REVERSE YOUR RECENT CHANGES BEFORE YOUR BUSINESS GOES DOWN THE TOILET AND IS FLUSHED AWAY PERMANENTLY.”

“Not user friendly at all and too many scammers on it. Doesn't let me leave bad feedback for a seller that is messing me about and cancelled the transaction because i refused to pay through a 3rd party. Why sell on Shpock if you won't take a payment through it? Surely a scam. They deserve poor feedback but the poorly designed app won't let me...”

“Really poor service, they deleted my account without being asked and without any reason, and when i asked to explain why they said i had asked to delete it and it's impossible to restore it!!! I'm not surprised to see so many bad reviews on the web, how to ruin an app with millions of users, they seem to fail on purpose”

“I lost £300 for some items in one transaction. My bad, I used bank transfer, however on further investigation, it was perfectly obvious that this was a fraudster (many Shpock accounts, different emails, but same M.O. and EXACTLY the same 'texts' within ads). As an I.T. person, I could EASILY identify such fraudsters - with only the info that we as users can see, as Shpock admin - they have so much more info. that can be checked. Shpock didn't care, and don't care. Completely unprofessional.”

“Had to give it 1 as 0 was not an option! Schpok wallet is a disgrace. You have to pay postage up front! You then have to wait for the buyer to "agree" the transaction, even if you have tracking info, then Schpok "HOLDS" YOUR money for 6 to 7 days! If the buyer doesn't like ANYTHING ie Schpok will not pay out, even for postage. Appalling. You CANNOT remove schpok wallet from your profile! If the Seller offers delivery, it is NOT an option to remove it - ie couldn't collect it is just NOT user friendly”

“This app is actually not worth one star at all. I joined in good faith and bought one item which was not delivered at all. No message, no nothing from the seller. I then got a message from the App admin saying I would get my money back in five days. With that confidence I bought another item. That was ten days ago. Again there was no attempt to deliver and this time, there is no attempt to refund the money either. If you see this review, please do not use this app as you will lose your money and your time.”

“Never using this site again. I sold a Gucci handbag to put towards a deposit for a house, which I desperately need. I was sad to let it go but needs must. I sold it over a week ago and I’ve still not received any money. Absolutely fuming!!! I’ve also put a matching purse on to sell, which matches the handbag, only to find the deactivated my account saying it was counterfeit. Which is total s***!! If they’d asked for proof, I could have proven it wasn't fake, with a serial number! Not to fussed that they’ve deactivated the account because I definately won’t be using this Mickey Mouse company again. It’s just the cheek of it, scum bags!! And where the f*** is my money???”

“Shocking !!! I pay monthly to use shpock as a business. They take a customers word for it when the customer says I've not recived my item !! When there item has been delivered and proof of delivery has been sent. They restrict Your account 1st without asking you the business 1st !!! Even when you put proof on shpock for the customer and Shpock to see and email the customer and shpock !!! This app is UNPROFESSIONAL NO CUSTOMER SERVICE NO SELLER SUPPORT RIP OFF !!!!!!!”
