Sold a few items in the past and was good. Relisted a couple of items recently and received offers from buyers who we’re just scammers or time wasters. Sh’ock should look into bogus offers.

Stay away, most buyers are scammers there. I wanted to sell something, a lady sent me a real-looking email from shpock support, shortly afterwards they asked for my credit card information and suddenly 3000 euros were gone from my account. Shpock doesn't help, thinks you should go to the police and there's no money back. STAY AWAY FROM SHPOCK. ALL MY MONEY IS GONE

Absolute shambles. Tried to sell a dress and had to go through a circle of being asked to log my bank details over and over. Was told a number of excuses and reasons why...none of which were believable. Their customer service chat was shifty and rude as when I asked further questions I was told "we have already resolved this issue with you" when clearly they hadn't. When I tried to contact the buyer to apologise for the issues, it no longer existed! When I contacted shpock they said "the buyer is in contact with us...they were hacked" rather convenient I will never use this app or company again. I'll stick to vinted

Listed a dining table yesterday and within minutes got a buyer. He asked for my email address so shpock could transfer his money, which I gave him. I followed the instructions and entered my bank details, all on the shpock site, but they were unable to transfer the money saying my card was blocked. I rang my bank and my card was fine and they are keeping a watch on it for me. The buyer then inundated me with messages pleading for me to ask my husband and any friends or relatives to try their cards! I refused and he told me I wasn’t trying hard enough! I told him goodbye and delisted . Then got email from shpock today telling me they’d suspended the buyers account and they’d re listed table for me. Within minutes again got an offer but alarm was raised when the format of their messages was identical to yesterdays so I believed it was the same guy under another name. He again told me he didn’t believe I’d tried hard enough or used all my cards. Told him to get lost as I wanted cash on pick up, silence is deafening now! Be very careful, tec support weren’t much use yesterday they were asking for me to try other cards too!

It's been a really worrying experience trying to sell on Shpock - I've been inundated with messages from individuals that have been trying to obtain my personal financial information. I really feel like it's an open market for fraudsters - be very careful

Just put my first item on shpock, and within a couple of minutes of it going live someone from 200 miles away said they would send a courier the next day to package it and deliver it to them (this was 9pm at night so very suspect they would arrange a courier so fast for the next day for a £75 chair). They then sent me a link which wanted my full credit card details so they could apparently send me the money. Obviously a scammer trying to get my credit card details, so that was the first and last item i shall be listing on shpock!

Why does Shpock keep sending me emails? I haven't used this app before. Please delete/erase any data that they have on me. Please do not share my data with any third parties.

I sold a mobile phone for my neighbour. Posted to a Simon P (Parker) he claimed it didn’t work, it did so o said send it back. He then claimed it was locked, then told me it was illegal to sell a locked phone! He also said he is disabled (!?!) which has no bearing on this transaction so alarm bells ringing. Schpock told him to return the item. He has sent me back an empty box. Schpock are holding the funds including £5 p&p which I spent sending item. I’ve repeatedly asked for copy of their policy on Disputes and a time frame. They don’t respond presumably there is no policy. I haven’t agreed they can hold my money for weeks (it’s been 3 weeks since transaction.) wallet still pending 🙄terrible company with no open policies or clear guidance. I’ve removed all my items from there now.

I sold an item on shock for £460, sent it secure via special delivery, sent pictures of receipt and then tracked it which was then signed for. No payment was made by the buyer. Shpock are saying nothing they can do, this is fraud on their site so I will be taking this to social media and the papers. Do not use this site and app it’s scammers paradise. I will be taking legal action

Item sold for £1.50, Shpock wanted £3.25 for buyer protection, plus 3.50 delivery. Can't opt out of buyer protection, using account settings.

Dreadful rip off merchants DO NOT USE Paid for 2 lamps £10, by the time they had added postage and their insurance ( just a con) cost £18.60. It took 3 weeks for the seller to send Theo 2 lamps one was broken, and fused the wall socket. Wrote to the seller nothing Wrote to Spock they said give the seller a chance nothing from seller Got back to Spock and they said the insurance😂😂 (toilet paper would be more useful!!!!). Only lasts 7 days so there is nothing they could do. They put a note saying buying complete. I wrote about 7 letters, I don't know if they blocked me sending anything. The letters did not show on the messages, both of them ignored meh.......to Joe public it looks like a happy completed transaction They are robbers, liars and just take money for doing nothing If insurance was only for 7 days it should state this I wrote on 6 occasions asking for a copy of the terms and conditions of the insurance ...,,, I GOT NOTHING ......because there is nothing........ they are nasty scammers. Don't waste your time and effort. Better buy in a shop, if broken you can take it back

When it was described as an “on line car boot sale” they should have been awarded 5 stars for accuracy. Full of scum bags and w*****s trying to con you or swindle you out of a few quid. AVOID !!!!

My grandson purchased an Xbox series X paid £320. Transferred the money into an account of the seller's boyfriend. Seller's name is IZZY H. Never received the goods and his number was blocked on her phone. Has been reported to ActionFraud as recommended by Shpock. He'll never get his money back. Please if you're going to use Shpock collect only and pay cash only! My grandson will not use them again.

Really bad company useless and don't care about its customers..its all about making money and not supporting people when needed when scams are detected.. Customers services are pretty non active because shpock don't want the hassle anymore.. Stay away from shpock aload of scammer on here and no protection at all if something goes wrong you are on you're own simple Shpock will eventually closed down soon until then all the bosses will milk it as much as they can

Was charged £3.15 buyer protection fee on a £4.50 item. This is extortion. The sellers don't have to pay anything and these fees are not displayed when looking at the item page. Only when you've already agreed to sale. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND!
