“Still in shock! Absolute RIP OFF fees. £4 buyer protection on a £5 dress!. And yet the seller pays nothing. PayPal charge 4% for same protection but better . Scammers who delay sending your item so the deal closes after 7 days & you have NO PROTECTION yet Shpock & the seller have your money. Disgusting illegal theft. Constant uploading problems with photos, location, listing not displaying. Regular bugs/technical issues when editing listings. No protection from bad buyers, take 2 days to reply to messages or do anything about unfair bad reviews. Can't narrow down searches, needs better search options & filters. They've just updated it but it needs to be better. They don't monitor fake & counterfeit goods unless theyre manually reported . Not sold a thing for months as your listings dont show unless you use Shpock Wallet. Prob the worst customer service as they never read, or grasp your complaint just generic replies! Surely they can see that their members are dissatisfied hence all the low reviews! Totally in denial of how bad the app is”

“Platform is ridiculous. Buying and selling is supposedly legal binding contract (thats how they advertise it anyway) yet there is absolutely no repercussions if a seller accepts your deal, they can cancel it at any time and sell it to someone else. The whole thing is more time wasting then Facebook marketplace. Avoid if you can”

“Please don’t use this platform. Over Christmas I was scammed out of 250 from someone who wanted to buy and item, they subsequently did not pay for the item and managed to take money out of my account. Spock have yet to take down the seller and he/she could still be scamming other people. Please avoid at all cost it’s a breading ground for Nigerian scammers.”

“So far so good, I've sold a pair of hair straighteners, we shall see how long it takes for the money to go into my bank from my wallet, started transfer last night. Vinted transferred my money within 3 hours.....let's just see how Shpock perform......”

“Loved Shpock before but buyers protection is extortionate. Expected me to pay £3.11 protection on an item that cost £2.50. Why would anyone pay more for protection than for the cost of the item???!!! Come on Shpock this is not acceptable. Shame”

“I was sold an item that was not fit for purpose. I received replies from the seller apologising for the 'error' and agreeing to make right (in my opinion admitting fault), I posted photos of the issue - this was all within the Schpock website. After a few weeks of excuse after excuse the seller just started ignoring me. I reported to Schpock for them to see and they just posted a message in the chat between seller and I instructing us to find a resolution and wiped their hands clean of it. The seller continued to ignore and every time I tried to report this to Schpock a pop up would appear saying I had already reported the issue. Completely let down by seller and Schpock, in fact Schpock were responding exactly the same as the fraudulent seller - ignoring me! Never saw my money again and have requested for my account to be deleted.”

“Wish I'd read these reviews before using Shpock - I didn't realise it was as a scam :( I purchased something & paid extra for buyer's protection as Shpock said they would cover any issues within 7 days of shipping, however I reported an issue with the product which I received after 2 days and they are refusing to cover it. And they are also refusing to refund the buyer's protection fee which is only a small charge but considering they didn't offer any service for it not sure why I should have to pay it! I guess if they steal a few quid off every customer they make money that way. It means I have to deal with the seller directly but for all I know they could be a scammer too so I'm a bit stuck. I reported Shpock to Resolver on Friday and from today (Monday) they are no longer accepting Resolver cases so something very dodgy has happened over the weekend! Hopefully they'll be shut down soon so no one else gets conned.”

“Terrible company. I have a successful 5 star profile but hadn't used shpock for a year or two and decided to give it a go again recently, listing some good quality-good brand items. I was shocked to see a complete decay of the shpock I once knew: so many scam buyers running rampant on the platform, a major overhaul to push only for delivery providing items in attempt to push out local sellers and mimic ebay, absolutely no customer service, no offers to my page to encourage promotion purchase!”

“In the past it’s taken to long to pay you & now they are just not paying at all . Having Emailed customer services and them telling me they are aware of the problem and are working on it ! Having read reviews on here it looks like this not paying people has been going on for some Time . As I told Shpock customer service if you know there is a problem paying people then stop taking payments . So now we have no idea when our £189 will be paid !NO MORE SHPOCK FOR US 👎”

“Expected money in my account by 31st July - still waiting for it. Really nervous they have lost of kept it. No telephone number to ring them and sent emails but no response, its over £300 they have, i had an excellent rating from the buyer as well. do not what else to do other that tell people not to use them”

“Beware there are dishonest people and Shpock will not protect you. I recently bought an item on Shpock. The seller sent a faulty item and I opened the case. Shpock sent me an email in 2 days they said I lost my case and restricted my account. Even I explain everything with video prove. Avoid avoid it's absolutely jock”
