“I have ordered 2 seperate deliveries of the 595 x 595mm lay-in led panels to replace aging fluorescent ones.
They are excellent value for money and I paid for the next day delivery and on both occasions they turned up around midday so excellent.
My only negative is that my existing lights were on tails with plug in rock roses so I expected a very swift swap over. The new led panels come with a seperate driver unit and low voltage plug. The mains 'fly lead' was only about 200mm long so I thought very simple I will swap leads over. So to remove the cover off the driver was a challenge but then the push fit terminals were tiny. Therefore to remove the factory fitted fly lead was quite simple but to get the replacement leads into the push fit terminals was particularly challenging. The pin style ferrules on my leads had to be made to fit.
So the suggestion would be to have maybe slightly larger push fit terminals or even screw in.
Anyway all good, installed and working. The 4,000k lights are really nice bright white light and has really modernised the whole feel of the office space. Coupled with a substantial saving on energy and heat output what's not to like.
