“Very pleased with the quality of the handrail. Delivery and other aspects of service all very good. Only downside was screws for wall fixings were not in the box - I had some anyway so it didn’t matter.”

“The product parts are of excellent quality, the only improvement I can think of would be a template to Mark the centre of the ends of the rail to make drilling a pilot hole for the plastic end fitting more accurate.”

“The first time I have used them. There were initial problems in delivery and it required some prompting to get things on track for delivery. (Non availability of some components caused the delay, followed by incompetence of UPS delivery). Once the scale of the problem was realised the manager, Dan, became personally involved to rectify the situation. His proactive response and concern for the customer was most appreciated. After a weak start the company made every effort to mitigate the effects of the delays from their supplier. In the light of their reactive approach I will have no hesitation in using them again..”

“I installed the stainless steel handrails in two walk-in showers instead of grab bars which I consider old fashioned and not pretty. The handrails look smart and provide a steadying rail for someone who has mobility issues. I am pleased with the result and glad I chose this option.”

“It looks good and does the job at the top of the stairs to get us oldies round the bend afteri getting off the stairlift. That's the trouble with oldies - we're always round the bend!”

“Good quality metal components and rail. Packaging could be better - rail had come out of one end during transit and the wood had been marked. Roundheaded screws are too long for the job they need to do and are difficult to screw into oak even with an appropriately sized pilot hole (3 broke off at the head so had to rotate rail and redrill/refix all of them)”

Hi Phil, We had no idea your handrail arrived damaged. Please drop us an email at sales@simplehandrails.co.uk and we will gladly replace. They don't leave us damaged so I can imagine it could of been done in transit with the courier. Dan
