“A quality item that I bought to upgrade my stairs. Bought in 2020 so took a while to be delivered. The handrail comes untreated so you can choose how you want it finished. I bought a 4.5m length so it was a two man job for the fitting.”

“Now that I have received my order, I am more than happy to change my original review. The quality of the goods appears to be absolutely superb and certainly incredible value for money. Simple Handrails are obviously a very professional company but are being let down by their carriers. I will certainly use them again.”

Hi Stephen, Today is your 5th working day. We advertise between 3 and 8 working days. It left us after the first day, however as there is a global pandemic going on the couriers are taking longer due to COVID-19. SimpleHandrails.co.uk

“Well it arrived promptly but not out of the packing yet and who knows how many weeks or months until a workman can come and fit it!”

“Rail delivered on time. Some damage to one end of packaging tube, and actual wood rail was split of approx. 10cm of the damaged end. Over than that, the product including mounting hardware / trims first class condition. Cut the split wood off.”

“Overall quality is good enough to justify the price: However I have a black handrail and I would have thought the fixing bolts and the supplied wall screws could have been a black finish. ….shame I now have to paint them.”

Hi Allan, Totally understand your point with the screws, however as these rails are stainless steel with corrosion you have to be careful with cross contamination. Hence why stainless steel screws are supplied. The screws are also provided as a good will gesture as many of our customers source there own to suit their own fixing needs. SimpleHandrails.co.uk

“Two wooden (oak) handrails ordered last week. Speedy delivery, and now fitted and looking good. Fitting requires 2 people. Handle fittings flexible to fit the wall and angle of rail.”

“Good service, and products arrived when said, well packaged. My only surprise was that a 4m handrail came in 2 parts, but I may have missed that info somewhere? End result is good as you can see from the photos.”

“Rather the end caps went over the rail and secured by grub screw instead of against the end as the fitting has to be perfectly central, there is zero room for error but great quality. That's the only thing I'd ask for differently.”

“Hand rail and delivery very good and efficient service. My only issue was that the screws for the brackets could be of a better quality. 2 of them snapped when tighten. but still really pleased with the hand rail.”

“Well pleased with the 3 Meter stainless brushed handrail, really good quality brackets. Fitting quite easy all fittings and screws supplied. It does give a slight ringing effect, as you walk up the stairs using the handrail, though quite pleasant to listen to.”

“Great handrail. Fully supplied with all bits needed. Looks lovely. Only issues 1. Delivery information was not provided. Had a phone call on the day but wasn't home. Disappointed that had no prior message regarding date as advised 2. Oak is hard to screw into”

Hi Christina, Thank you for your reply. Comments regarding the delivery are noted and really helpful, as we are guided by their systems. We always issue two emails one with tracking and one saying when it’s to be accepted by. I’ve checked our end and they where both sent. We do however believe that the couriers website has had issues with their emails are falling into a lot of spam folders. To reassure future customers, our delivery partners will deliver for three days in a row and also call and contact the customer directly if there is no one home for a safe place.
