“The hand rails, when they eventually arrived are lovely. However, when they didn’t arrive on the due date, I phoned and was told they’d had a problem and they’d be with me in another 3 days. They weren’t, so I phoned again, and was greeted with surprise, no one knew they hadn’t been sent. They were eventually despatched that week. My dissatisfaction is purely about the inability to keep me informed - if you’re not going to deliver to schedule, it’s your job to tell the customer, so that they don’t have to keep messing contractors around. I”

“Great quality handrails. Screws for the plastic end caps a bit excessively big. Centering of these really unforgiving too if you're a bit out. Overall happy though”

“good quality handrails, expensive but you get what you pay for - shame they did not pack the correct amount of screws with them (quite a lot missing) - this was a poor oversight - surely a simple check could have been made before packing ??? lucky I already had some the right size and quantity, also no instructions to give you a bit of a helping hand in case you have not put them up before, good job I'm good at DIY. other than that quite pleased.”

“Excellent quality wood rails and brass.. quite expensive, but very good!! BUT.. Was told my goods was on the way for delivery next day...only to waited 2 weeks for delivery!!”

“Having received the hand rail I was impressed by the quality of the product and fittings but not the after sales service as there were no fitting instructions included. Also and most importantly the was no after care advice regarding cleaning / finish protection .”

“The part of the bracket which fits to the rail kept coming loose, the Allen screws are too short and the thread is the incorrect tolerance, had to apply loctite to the thread. Also insufficient screws applied.”

“Although yet to be installed, oak handrail, brackets and end fittings all appear good quality. Main criticism would be delivery. Unable to get delivery forecast despite email stating dispatched.”

“Good quality materials , slightly disopointed by one of the holes drilled and tapped 6mm off centre on one of the tubes. The wall plugs supplied did not match the screws.”

“Handrail was fine, good quality product. Only complaint would be the packaging where they use staples to hold the end caps in, note to reader - remove staples before you slide the rail out or they will scratch the paint all down the length of the nice new rail, shame this happened but I can live with it, another solution to the staples would avoid others having the same problem.”

“Nice product ,black powder coated handrail. The screws could have been black to match the handrail and the raw plugs were not for hollow walls . The delivery company emailed our consignment number and when I tracked it they couldn't find it. Rang simplehandrails who said it would be delivered by end of week. It wasn't , it was delivered the following week but with no notification -( just left on the lawn) and no delivery note or invoice. It is fitted and looks great.”

“Product good apart from the screws that were supplied were poor quality and the heads very soft so not useable and had to buy some good quality screws. Shame as for the cost of some decent screws why spoil what is a good product”
