“£25 delivery charge and took five days to arrive.”

Hi Emma, Thank you for your feedback. We have looked into this and also carried out a review of what happened. UPS attempted to deliver this parcel two days running however no one was available or in at the address. We agree you paid for a delivery which should of arrived within 3 working days (dispatched within 2) however we emailed all the tracking over to say when it was to be delivered. As a good will gesture we are going to refund the £25. I have also attached the UPS tracking details 1ZE46W946895467985 just so you can see exactly what happened and that we are being truthful. Dan

“Rail was great but when got cut down the part could not connect because they didn’t clean inside correctly some steel was left had to take it to shop to get done other than that the rail is self good quality thank you x”

“I ordered an oak banister and brackets plus an additional bracket on 22nd September. The banister arrived on the 6th October, with the wrong cap ends, and no additional bracket. I have made several phone calls, completed a contact form, and sent emails. I have been sent three brackets, that are not the one I ordered. I have yet to receive the correct bracket, and it is now 19th October!! The product looks good; the sales and despatch has been appalling. I would not recommend this company as a consequence of my experience.”

“I had initial problems with delivery, due to haulier losing the rail. However, as soon as simple handrails found out they kept me well informed, very apologetic and sorted out an immediate replacement. Excellent product and great 'personal' customer service.”

“Good quality high grade stainless steel with all fittings. I upgraded the fixing screw size of this handrail as I felt those supplied were a little undersize however the overall quality is excellent and at a amazingly competitive price. Buy with confidence and compare the high quality of this item with inferior ones on the market. First Class A1+”

“The handrail was exactly right for the job it had to do. It has now been installed on a set of stairs, it looks good, it is strong, and people are appreciating using it. However, we had significant problems with delayed delivery. UPS failed to deliver on the promised date. They first attempted delivery three days later than promised, when no one was available to take delivery. It took more failed attempts and many phone calls to achieve successful delivery, and prevent the product being returned to sender. I strongly suggest that SimpleHandrails switch to a more reliable courier company, such as DPD, who give you a timed delivery slot, and stick to it. They also give you the option to change the delivery date, which UPS don't!”

“Goods were delivered earlier than expected,so the delivery service was excellent.The handrail end caps were of very good quality and once fitted looked even better than I had expected.All in all a very good product and great delivery time.Would recommend highly. . B Loudon”
