“On November 2nd, 2024, I ordered four chairs from the Sklum website. The website advertised immediate shipment; however, the chairs did not leave the warehouse until November 13th, and they finally arrived at my home on December 20th, significantly delayed.
The chairs arrived poorly packaged, with virtually no internal protection, and contained within two completely damaged shipping boxes. I immediately initiated a claim process, providing photographs and all necessary information. However, Sklum informed me that I must return the chairs and await their receipt at their warehouse before a refund would be processed. This places the onus entirely on me; I have no guarantee Sklum will actually receive the chairs, and therefore no guarantee of a refund.
As of December 13th, 2024, I have yet to receive my refund. This is unacceptable; it will be two months next week since I initiated this process.
This is not acceptable service; it is a fraudulent practice. Sklum's customer support is nonexistent and utterly inadequate.”

When I raised the issue, they refused to send the correct product I had paid for, all while continuing to run the same misleading ads online to trap more victims.
Customer support? Nonexistent. Their so-called "support" is a black hole of frustration, deliberately structured to wear down customers. The company's responses to complaints are blatantly false, but I have all the documentation to prove otherwise. Only after intervention from Refurbed’s management was I able to secure a refund. Without this external help, I would have been left completely helpless.

Disastrous after-sales service, I have purchased several times from Sklum, and I have always had incidents for one reason or another. I'm not worried about damage, but I am worried about their after-sales service. The last case I bought a piece of furniture a few months ago, I went back to the website and bought the same one, same photos, there was no difference in the photos, exactly the same, before it said color 'black' and now 'charcoal black', but the photos were the same exactly. The order arrives and the new furniture is dark gray, very different from the previous one, the color is a lot different. I tell them that the photos on the website should have been changed, that they lead to errors, and even more so if they call the new color almost the same. They accept my return but I pay the return costs (delivery costs). I complain to them and they have not paid any attention to me. I will file a complaint with consumption Office. They are arrogant and do not admit any fault. I won't buy again. It is very unfair that when buying online they make a mistake (they do not change the photos of the new color) and I have to pay the return costs.
Sklum contacts me via email to tell me the same thing, they are not going to refund the return costs.... A lot of words, sorry but we keep the money for the return costs, they still don't acknowledge the error, not even mentioning the fact that they should have changed the photos on the website to avoid giving space to error.
I honestly will not buy again and recommend not doing so. A company are people, and I choose much more reliable people.”
“I am really disappointed in Sklum. The shipping was messy but ultimatly everything arrived. I bought two bedside tables and a couple of lamps. One of the lamps had an included lightbuld that burned out after just one day, the lamp itself was crooked and had damages (probably from shipping). The bedside tables have a very strong smoky/burnt smell to them. It was so bad that I had to leave them on the balcony for days and the smell still didn't go away. I contaced the customer support through every way possible. I created a ticket on their website, talked to the useless chatbot and even tried sending emails to addresses that I am not even sure are still supported. No response whatsoever. From all the negative reviews on Trustpilot I take it that Sklum doesn't have a customer support at all. It seems like it's just a dropshipper who resells cheap furniture from China. Good thing I payed with PayPal so I can at least get my money back but it's too bad because the designs of the products look great.”

In September (yes, almost 3 months ago), I ordered a desk and a candle.
Two weeks ago, I was told, my order is being shipped, with the candle and the desk being mentioned in the order details.
8 days later, the candle arrived – and my order was marked "delivered".
I asked the shipping company about my desk and they said, they have no clue, I should talk to Sklum
I tried reaching Sklum, but all they offer is a lousy chatbot (they even disabled the comments in der Instagram, so people wouldn't ask questions).
The first time I asked the chatbot, it told me, my order was already delivered.
The second time I asked the chatbot, it told me, my order could not be found.
No email address, no telephone number, nothing. All I know is that I paid about 500 Euro for a candle – because my desk is nowhere to be found.
I'm actively hoping they respond to this review because it's the only hope I have to actually get a response from a human being. Otherwise, I will definitely take legal action.

First off they took forever to deliver the goods, second off, one of the goods, the most expensive one, never arrived (along with several other items). They want ridiculous amounts of information about the goods when you talk to them about goods that haven't even arrived. One of the questions on one of their forms is, Please provide a parcel number, this is for an item I have never received. How am I supposed to provide a parcel number for this? Ridiculous company which is a shame, because most of the items we received are very good and we like them a lot. But safe to say, we won't ever use them again and will be recommending against them as well. Also, can you hurry up and process my refund for the items that we haven't received? Musste den Fall an den Käuferschutz melden: nun wird mir eine Erstattung angeboten, aber die Ware soll nun auf Eigenkosten zurück nach Spanien geschickt werden: ~120€ .... für kaputte Ware. Abgesehen davon, dass es riesige, schwere Pakete sind - es muss also zusätzlich eine Abholung gebucht und bezahlt werden.
Ein so schlechtes Erlebnis bzw. (nicht vorhandenen) Kundenservice, habe ich schon lange nicht/nie erlebt.

“I ordered six chairs from Sklum on 30 July 2024. They didn’t arrive until late August, which was generally in line with their instructions; however, obtaining shipping information was a nightmare. It took me two weeks just to get any sort of update.
When the chairs finally arrived, one was damaged as something had punctured the box. I was concerned this might happen because I’d read several reviews warning about their poor customer service, and sure enough, it’s been a headache. I submitted a return claim on 29 August 2024, but here we are, a month later (it’s now 26 September), and I’ve heard absolutely nothing. I’ve tried contacting them multiple times, but the only option seems to be their chatbot, which has been no help at all. The bot said they’d send a replacement, but I’ve had no further updates.
In short, the bad reviews about Sklum’s customer service are spot on. I’m facing the same frustrating delays and lack of communication as so many others. If you’re thinking of buying from Sklum, be aware that you could end up with damaged goods and be waiting months for any kind of resolution.”

“SKLUM delivered a broken garden chair. First of all it is impossible to reach them. Only when you put a negative review online, they react. But no action. In our case the could not say when they would deliver the chairs. In the end they did during our holiday. After we came home we opened the box and saw broken chair. We reported this. But They say you have to do within 14 days. Which is impossible when they can not tell you when they deliver, and you are on holiday.
