“on this order your worker gave me the wrong engine.when i called and corrected in less than 2 hours i was told the correct motor would be sent and the wrong one recalled.i receieved the wrong engine anyway and had to pay for return shipping.”
“The PROS and CONS of my new engine:
PROS: Small Engine Warehouse (SEW) delivered the new Briggs and Stratton 44T977-0035 engine so fast that it was shipped here in 3 days! The sale was pretty smooth. The prices were very affordable. The new engine also has plenty of power to cut my lawn.
CONS: Better support on components could be mentioned on the SEW website as to what each engine could need to replace another engine. A better representation of wiring diagrams would also be helpful as this took an enormous amount of time and research to find out what wiring went where. I had to create my own wiring diagram to understand fully as a DIY guy to how to get the engine running properly. Greater emphasis on getting the correct shaft length would also be very helpful for DIY. My previous Kohler Command had a built-in solenoid, but I had to guess on my own that the B&S engine needed a separate 3-post solenoid. Nothing in their documentation mentions this or on the SEW website. Lastly, the Kohler Command manual of 20 years ago is complete and extremely helpful. The manual for the B&S is useless regarding any practical or useful info.
After finally getting the engine at starting point, the engine, however, has been hard to start (it only has 6 hours on the motor). It does not crank quickly for some reason. I purchased a new battery). I have had to start by spraying starting-fluid in the carb to get it started. Today that worked but then the engine cut out a few hundred feet from my home and would not restart even with more starting fluid. My gas is fairly fresh and the choke fully works. Is the new fuel pump defective? The oil is level. What gives??”
“I searched for an engine to fit my model of riding mower and chose the one with the same horse power (within .5). The engine arrived about a week after ordering it. The next day I did the swap, it only took 2.5 hours and my mower was ready to go back to work. Everything hooked up the same. Very pleased.”

“Repowered an old Gravely 144Z after the old 17HP Kawasaki suffered a catistrophic failure. Rob was able to suggest a drop in (19HP) replacement. Engine arrived in a few days with no issues. Everything was swapped over in a few hours and the machine was ready to run. Great customer service and quick shipping. Will definitly use them again.”

“I felt scammed by the price. I was told my purchase qualified for free shipping and received a bill for one hundred dollars higher than was quoted on the price of the engine but received free shipping. Dustin said the quoted price was not the price with free shipping. If I wanted the quoted price he would have to charge shipping. I was like HUH????”
“Not a bot here, can’t really explain how happy and surprised I was when the engine showed up on a semi the very next day after ordering it. Engine bolted right up to everything that my discontinued engine had exempt of a crankshaft bolt but 98cents later It was up and going. Highly recommend”
