“i recently got my travelling insurance but when i got my certificate there was a mistake in effective dates even though in the policy everything was good. then i tried to contact them for correction but its been 3 to 4 days i haven't got any update..they don't even reply me. very bad customer service. ovoid this service.”

“Must read before insuring car through IGI. I insured my Changan Alsvin for 1 year and raised 3 claims for which i passed through all this. 1. They will not pay directly to motor company instead they will refund your claim after 4-5 months and that too if you call them daily for every step 2. Their surveyors will dont pick up calls 3. Their helpline number is always busy 4. Their surveyors donot reach on time at work site and donot send their report on time instead they will loose all record after some time if you forget asking them from time to time. 5. Upon calling and reminding them 100 times even will not work. 6. Their emails have a standard reply that will also not work 7. Company will tell you to call surveyor to send his report and surveyor will not pick your call or reply your message. 8. You will regret insuring your car through IGI I will suggest to insure your car from any other company but IGI even if it cost you 10 20k more And I got my insurance through smart choice.. they are not even effective. They claimed high before purchasing but were ineffective during claims whenever i complained them.”

“They sell me United Insurance Company policy. While selling the policy it was 5 star service. But once I lost Credit Card and it was misused and I called them they said number of Insurance Company is written and you can call them directly. The number which is given it is no reply no matter what you do from another country you can only call. Once I am back, now they are saying you should have contacted from abroad. Still trying to contact UIC but all numbers including UAN number is no reply. I don't know about other companies but UIC is definitely not providing any service and smart choice decline any responsibility after sales. I still doubt this review will appear, but I will suggest pay some more amount and get the policy directly from a recognized Insurance Company because an insurance policy is useless, if you cannot use it once you are in need. It was the least what a company had to compensate for credit card a fix amount irrespective of my financial loss. Allah forbids if it could be much more then that what would be agony. Lastly, while buying I asked them how to claim and they said abroad you menage yourself and bring all documents. But now once I asked they said you should have contacted from abroad on numbers which are always no reply. Beware and choose wisely.”

“I purchased 2 Annual Global Travel Insurance initially and in addition to the delay in issuance of the policies, the policies issued had multiple mistakes where information of both the applicants was mixed up in the policies. I had to call twice at your helpline to make the corrections and all this was done from Gerrys' office where I was just waiting for the travel insurance to submit along with my Visa documents. So there was no point of using your services as it took the same time if I would have been applied to Insurance Company directly. I ignored this mistake and applied for 5 more policies for my colleagues as well but the same problem was faced even in those policies where information were mixed up and they had to call to make necessary corrections. I believe your portal should only be used if you want 1 single policy and applying for more than policy means we are risking the policy due to errors from your side.”
