“I was impressed with the speedy delivery, especially as the family is always needing the washing machine to wash clothes, but the part, which was advertised as an “original” part, was not an oam part but an after market version which fit loosely, and so silicon was required for the installation of the part to ensure there was no leak. Thankfully my friend that helped me to fix it, is a Maytag washer repair man and knew to do this, as I may have had issues trying to repair it myself. I had searched online specifically for an original part and was disappointed that it wasn’t as advertised. The stem was new, and not used, so that was a benefit, and the rubber was not like an oam part, but was still a decent quality rubber, and not hard or stiff. The part was just installed and now we have to wait 24 hours for the silicone to cure, which would not have been the case if it was an original Maytag part. With the exception of the error is how is was advertised, which may have made a difference in my purchase decision with you, it seems to be a satisfactory part for the repair. I wish I could have given a 5 star rating with the oam part, but I think the review is fair, and I do appreciate the quick service of delivery. Thank you.”

I checked into this and see that the Washer Tub Seal Kit from your order is advertised as an aftermarket part that is compatible with various Maytag and Whirlpool models. I'm not seeing that the listing has information that mentions "original" or OEM or any other conflicting references.
