“The sparklers did not burn for 2 mins- can't use them”

“Firstly the wrong order was sent (16" sparklers, instead of 18" sparklers). I informed the company via email and received a polite response, but it was not very professional in format. I was asked to return the sparklers, so the correct order could be sent out. This can not be done using normal postal services as sparklers are classed as "explosive items". I was left quite embarrassed in the post office when, with a queue behind me, I was told they wouldn't take them from me. Eventually I returned the sparklers, and the 18" ones were sent out to me. Upon measuring the combustible material on the 18" sparklers, it was discovered there was a similar amount (if not slightly less) on the 18" sparklers than on the 16" sparklers! Essentially the 18" had 2 extra inches of grip space, not combustible material. Because of the hassle of complaining about receiving the wrong order originally, I didn't want the annoyance of complaining a second time. So essentially I've paid more for the 18" sparklers, than I would have for the 16" sparklers, for no extra benefit.”

“A purchased personalised sparklers for our wedding. Luckily they did arrive however I paid for quick delivery and they took weeks to arrive. I was about to order elsewhere when it arrived on our doorstep. The sparkler tags looked quite nice and the personalisation was correct. The gold glitter was also nice and didn't come off. The only thing was that there were two Chinese ¥ symbols at either side of the writing! They were quite small so I think most people thought they were hearts...the sparklers also had quite a potent smell to them which concerned me a little. On the evening the sparklers seemed to work ok which was a relief. These products are clearly from China - I think this company should stop pretending to be UK based and promising quick delivery. If you were just honest and said they are coming from China and there is a two week + wait then you would have happier customers.”

“They sent us an order of their choosing rather than what we had actually paid for with no explanation and didn't even change the receipt/order summary to reflect what they had sent. The order was for specific items for a specific reason. When questioned their attitude was if you want what you ordered you'll have to wait two months! I didn't bother to carry on the conversation with the cretin answering their emails. Hopeless customer service. Would not recommend or use again.”

“Service was good, very quick delivery but very disappointed with the sparklers. It said nothing in the description that they were Harry Potter themed and not suitable for children. We will be sending them back as not appropriate for our wedding.”

“I ordered from here and paid for a 48hour delivery, unfortunately the goods were sent on a 3-5 day service so missed my event. It then cost me to return the goods for a refund which has not been received as yet.”

“I found the sparklers very good value for money, however the service was poor. I received an email the day after I purchased the sparklers to say they had been despatched. After waiting 4 days I sent an email asking how they would be delivered? I still have not got a reply to my email! The sparklers did finally arrive after I had gone and bought more for my event.”

“I ordered them on the 30th October hoping to get them in time for bonfire night. They took over a week to come (missing bonfire night) and so I contacted them via their 'contact us' page on the website at the beginning of this week to ask if I could send them back and get a refund. I still haven't heard anything back from anyone!”

“Disappointed. Sparklers missing from order. Needed for my wedding and over 100 sparklers missing. Only half arrived. We could not find a contact number and the wedding was 2 days away so we had to panic buy additional at a significant cost. Unfortunately won't be using again.”

“I was quite disappointed with my sparklers. They are described as 'long sparklers' and the photo on the website shows long sparklers that reach above the top rim of a metal bucket. The sparklers I received were tiny with little room to hold.”

“Ordered 12 foil animal heads for my sons Noahs ark theamed christening.Although delivery was within the stated timescale the packaging was poor.Balloons came in just an A4 paper envelope with a sticker over the clear window.no protective wrapping.. These balloons were inflated on the morning of the christening and made into balloon animal table centerpieces by a professional .Within 30 minutes of inflation all but 2 animal heads were deflating. We were unable to do anything else with these and this completely spoilt the whole look of the christening. We have sent 3 emails since to speak to someone with regards to the poor quality of these but it seems that poor quality items is not there only issue. Poor costumer care as well. Will not be using again.”
