“The firm uses miseading guidance on postage on its site (free postage to UK mainland became £9 postage to uk mainland or your Christmas order cancelled during a follow up phonecall). Furthermore, when they arrived, all of my items were in battered packaging and one child's science pack (which, to be fair, had mentioned damaged packaging in the item description) was not just damaged but was filthy. When I wiped it down and disinfected it the cloth and water were black.”

“I ordered a rubiks spark, when it arrived the box was filthy and it didn't work. I opened the battery compartment and it seemed it was old and the batteries had deteriorated. I changed the batteries, still not working. I contacted customer service via email and was told they'd contact the warehouse to get another sent. It didn't arrive. No refund either.”

“Not great, order placed invoice received but no guide as to when item would arrive, gave them two weeks no information, chased via phone but no answer so chased by email to be told there supplier no longer stocked the item. Got a full refund but not great experience.”

“WHEN I RECIEVED THIS THE BOX WAS BATTERED AND SHABBY LOOKING, AND ALL THE PIECES INSIDE WERE LOOSE I HAD TO PUT THEM ALL BACK IN THEIR PLACES. I WOULD HAVE EXPECTED SOME TYPE OF COVERING OVER THE SMALL PIECES. DISAPOINTED WITH THE CONDITION OF THIS CONSIDERING THE PRICE.”

“I ordered an Intex Happy Dino Centre pool for my granddaughters 2nd birthday £45 with postage. After a couple of uses it leaked, I contacted Splash and Relax customer service, there was no customer service! One of the worst firms I have ever had to deal with. Responses where inane , asking stupid questions and not dealing with the issue. They fobbed me off and eventually advised me after many weeks that a new valve was needed, this after advising me that If I put a piece of cling film around the valve that would do it. I have not had the valve, the item has been tipped as when we tried to inflate it last month the slide part had split. What a complete waste of money, the whole Experience both with Splash and Relax and the product has been dire!”

“I paid express delivery but unfortunately it didn’t arrive. Had to purchase other products from elsewhere. Asked for a refund on postage and was not responded to. Shame as they definitely have great products for sale.”

“Sold me a dodgy Intex pool which leaks at double the normal price, and won’t replace, gave me the intex cust support who have not replied in 2 weeks. S and R Now ignoring my emails, not very splashy or relaxing. Do not buy from this company”

“Do not purchase from this company! They do not have a clear returns policy, and when attempting to return a product they fob you off to the manufacturer... if i wanted to return a tin of beans to Asda they wouldn't want me to contact Heinz! i am still waiting for returns details after sending three clear e-mails that i would like to return my item for a refund. The way they do business is very unprofessional. Avoid and spend your money elsewhere.”

“ORDERED STARTER KIT FOR A HOT TUB 17 DAYS AGO AND STILL NOT RECEIVED IT. IMPOSSIBLE TO CONTACT AND THEIR RECORDED MESSAGE WHEN PHONING BLAMES NATIONAL CARRIERS AND STAFF SHORTAGES FOR ANY DELAYS. HAVEN'T HAD THIS PROBLEM WITH OTHER SUPPLIERS. ORDERED A GAZEBO FROM A DIFFERENT SUPPLIER 2 DAYS AGO AND IT'S GETTING DELIVERED TODAY.”

“I haven't had a bad experience yet as my spa has not been delivered it is due on the 10th of August so will happily fill this in when my order has been fulfilled, although they took the payment straight away which means they will have had my money for 6 weeks.”

“Got my order cheaper due to box being damaged. Got item, no box damage but found mains cable cut in half so plug was separate. Wired plug back up and got power to the unit. RCD works but when you turn unit on it doesn't work. E-mailed company but no response in first week and after 2 weeks I still have broken item with very little feed back from company. Not happy! Can't review part as it has never worked.”

“Absolutely disgusting - Stay Away from this shambles of a company. I spent £1149 on a pool and filter, took weeks to arrive, it's really poor quality and the filter/pump has a 2 pin plug and can not be used in UK! Zero customer service, failed to answer calls or emails for ages. When I did get an abrupt response they refused to help in any way - just told me to cut the plug off and fit a new one!”
