First of all St Martin Blue did an amazing job of accommodating us once we learned of the overwhelming amount of sargassum that had been in the area around our originally booked villa. It was much appreciated that Eddie and Mary were able to accommodate us despite the short notice. They did a fantastic job of orchestrating the change. Upon arrival at the villa, we were met by the concierge Cheyenne, who unfortunately seemed to be inconvenienced when providing us the brief tour and answering questions. She was not helpful during our stay and also for departure did not reach out with any updates about our delayed airport transportation until she was contacted. This was nothing like our previous stay where our concierge was very attentive and responsive. We are hoping that this was a fluke as we really did look forward to coming back to St Martin through SMB.

Patty-No concierge. One was supposed to be there. Housekeeping sucked. Couldn’t get clean towels. I would never stay at this villa again. The services that were advertised sucked. Abby- we have stayed with St. Martin Blue at La Bella Casa twice and Mes Ami’s once, all of these visits included concierge that were available daily. We were greeted with specialty drinks, we were met each morning with questions answered about the villa and how to use amenities, we were offered laundry service, we were offered assistance with excursions and services within the villa. This time, Cheyenne was not there to greet us, but told us she was delayed due to a flight issue. We were tired and ready to unpack and relax. We expected to see her the next day. We did not see her until 5 minutes before departure. We had massages scheduled during our stay and one of the guests had to be on standby to let them in thru the gate and figure out the set up. We had lunch delivered and again had to do the gate. We did not have help with the stove, microwave or ac units. The lights were also a learning curve. One night, we decided to stay in and we could not figure out the tv. Cheyenne sent someone and we waited for 35 minutes. He came and wanted to help but spoke no English. My husband and I worked hard with our little French and he worked hard with his little English and we figured out how to turn the tv on. We figured with the picture on the tv we were good to go. After he left we put in the movie and there was no sound. Our family night was over. Cheyenne only communicated thru text and asked to stop by only after we told her our frustration. Roy and Leo from the other villas would have set everything up. Our massages would have been waiting for us and they would have gotten us at the pool only to walk into the room. We would never had to fight the gate and figure out logistics. This is the feedback I have from the previous experiences we have had. As for housekeeping, the towels weren’t replaced and we were told we could do our own laundry except the washer and dryer were always full. Not the experience we are used to.

In contrast, the concierge service at this villa is designed to support multiple guest stays across numerous properties and typically includes an arrival orientation along with assistance upon request throughout your stay. That said, the level of responsiveness and support you experienced fell short, and we regret that this impacted your stay so significantly. We also apologize for the approximately 15-minute delay in your welcome, which occurred because your flight arrived earlier than anticipated. Regardless, we understand how important a smooth and immediate arrival experience is, and we take responsibility for not delivering that to the standard you expected. Your feedback is extremely valuable and has been shared with our team so we can make the necessary improvements to ensure a more seamless and supportive guest experience going forward. I’ll start off by saying the entire booking process was amazing and very accommodating. The car and food were delivered and the concierge provided a good overview of the house.

We love this house and have always had a great time, this time the one issue we had is that the master bedroom bed had bedbugs, we are sure. My wife and I both had hundreds of bites all over our legs (and on our feet, which were only outside shoes either in the pool or in the bed) and could not sleep because we were so itchy. It was not mosquitos or flies. We spent the last 3 nights sleeping on the couches in the main room and could not use the bedroom. Immediately the bites calmed down and we were able to sleep, but that is not really what we signed up for , to sleep on couches for half our stay…

My family & I had a wonderful stay at Villa Pamplemousse. St Martin Blue was helpful with arranging our stay and always replied very quickly, but for future SXM visits we will switch back to the other booking company we’ve always used. They were more helpful & friendly - ex. Instead of providing a link with emails for me to make restaurant reservations, the other concierge did all communication and reservations on my behalf. The other company was more aware of places closed for low season versus me having to do the research on my own. The other had welcome gifts & treats for us when we arrived. Our stay was wonderful but because I’ve experienced other booking agents my personal preference is the competitor.

I have now used St. Martin Blue for two separate stays and overall, there are some great aspects to the service, but also a few consistent issues that need to be addressed. Pros: Leading up to both trips, the communication was excellent. I received plenty of information and assistance in setting up our arrival, which made the whole process very easy and stress-free. They also offer a very good selection of homes, and both properties we stayed in were beautiful and met expectations. Cons: Unfortunately, there are a few service gaps that impacted our experience. In both stays, the welcome basket—which was supposed to be delivered upon arrival—did not show up until day three, and only after I had to follow up multiple times. Additionally, housekeeping showed up at 8:00 AM on the day of checkout both times. While checkout isn’t until noon, having the cleaning crew arrive that early made us feel rushed and uncomfortable, as if we needed to leave immediately. If additional cleaning time is needed to prepare for incoming guests, they really should consider adjusting either the checkout or check-in times rather than making current guests feel pushed out. The concierge service was also inconsistent. Although there were times when they were helpful, there were several occasions when I found it quicker and easier to book reservations myself. On top of that, we had three separate issues with the house during our stay; despite reaching out to the concierge multiple times, only one issue was actually resolved. Overall, while St. Martin Blue has a lot of potential and some strong positives, the recurring service issues make it difficult to fully recommend without some improvements to guest experience management.

Great place for 3 couples, very secluded Villa felt like it had not had guests for quite some time. We were visited by a family of stray dogs barking all night one evening along with some unwanted rodents in the kitchen one day. All the management was on top of things 24 /7. The view is to kill, the pool deck is spectacular.Shopping and restaurants are about 10 minutes away though walking at night is hilly and Dark and dangerous. We did some private in-house dining evenings which were very good. Great part of the French side. We would love to return.

We’ve always had a good experience with St Martin Blue. They meet us at the airport and transport us to our Villa as well as pick us up for our return flight home. This year on our return, a smaller van was sent for our pickup that could not accommodate all the luggage for 4 couples so we had to put half the luggage in the car and drive to the airport.

Overall my family and I had a great time in St. Martin. The weather was great. The communication was pretty good between the company and us. Property Ink was ok. Our house cleaner was lacking and the villa could've used some sprucing up. I think the pictures were misleading a bit.

Pros: The views were breathtakingly amazing! The house was luxurious and the rooms were comfortable/spacious. The rooms had everything we needed in it. Cons: Although we had a good time ,there were some things that were off putting. The taxi ride prices aren’t realistic , we were charged 50$ for 8 min. Ride down the mountain to the store. 15$/person for ride to a boat that was also 8-10mins for a boat that was booked through the villa. The taxi prices doubled after 10pm, so 15 went to 30$ person. There are no fans at all in the kitchen or in the middle foyer area. Only a/c in the rooms. No instructions on how to operate the stove. Not enough essentials for the grill to be used properly.

We normally like doing business with St Martin Blue, but, this time, we had what seemed to be an endless number of emails back and forth about our arrival. We have been to SXM many times so it was totally unnecessary. In the end the reservation was passed off to The Property Ink for concierge and maid services, and those people clearly didn’t read the summary from SXM Blue, because they showed up at the airport to escort us to the villa when it was specifically stated that we would meet them after we picked up our cars.

The villa was tired but clean. The pool needed retiling badly. It’s location was not conveniently located and we had to travel everywhere to get around. Plus it seemed a bit sketchy to drive through. For the cost I would recommend elsewhere.

The property is beautiful, but in terms of service and relaxation, a few key things are missing. Housekeeping is not very thorough and asked me to help her with her tasks. I don’t mean to sound entitled but we pay to relax. Additionally, essentials like soap, shampoo, and conditioner aren’t replaced after your initial tiny bottle. Small inconveniences like that aggregate in so that your experience is dampened a little bit. The privacy of a villa is nice, but housekeeping and concierge of a hotel is better.
