“We had scheduled to be at our summer home when the first delivery date was confirmed. When it was postponed and rescheduled by Starfire, we couldn't be home to accept + inspect delivery. We left a note on the door for Shipwell (see attached), but when they finally arrived it seems they did not even approach the front door and left the unit in the driveway exposed for all to see and to the elements (see attached photos). When we arrived and accepted the fact they our instructions were completely ignored, and peeled over the water logged box, the iron ore powder coating flaked off onto our hands and clothes and moving the fire pit. There is no mention of the patina flaking at all on the Starfire website when we placed the order. The only mention of the iron ore patina transfer leaving stains on permanent surfaces is on the WARNINGS sheet after the unit was purchased and received. From the website we were led to believe there the patina process that accelerated the patina process was "permanent" to the steel firepit - not to our hands, clothes and our new $60k patio. We were so expecting a superior product and are so disappointed with both the product and the service provided. The website stipulates there are "no returns" on this product and, if not, we would like to at least have the option to replace with a Starfire fire pit that doe not have the artificial iron ore coating. Please review and let us know next best steps to resolve this matter. Thank you. A. Gentile”

“I received a grate that had been dropped and landed on the end where the gas controls are. They have given me the runaround for 7-8 months, maybe longer. Talked to so many different people including customer service. Sent pictures, emails, they refuse to resolve this. I want my money back, this is a gas electric starter fireplace. I wonder if the CEO of this company would use it???”

“I purchased 4 not one but four fire and water bowls!!!! Paid for it since January 2021…. And still have not received my order!!! Not even a damn email or feedback… this is the worst company to deal with… sent numerous emails and no response!!! Refund me my money!!!!”

“Steven was amazing, he really went above and beyond. My only reason for the 4 stars is that it was delayed a few weeks and did come slightly damaged upon delivery unfortunately. Aside from that it's beautiful and just what I wanted!”

“They have no problem selling their products to you, but when things get back ordered they just keep sending messages that my order is another two-four weeks out. They have been sitting on nearly $1,000 of my money since March!! It’s now July. Absolutely horrible experience. People, pay the extra money and use someone else!”

“DYI, What a great little project, money well spent. Steve was a big help, when it came to figuring out the natural gas stainless Products. This 18” burner will throw a 2.5’ flame on high, when it’s on low, you can have it at 1/2” from the top of the glass. Materials used 18” star fire round ring 24” round pan 50lbs of glass 1/2” key valve 2- 1/2” whistle flex hose 24” stainless lid. Total spent 800.00 an change Granite bought was bought local in PA, 58” outside diameter.”
