“I was expecting more about this course. It only covers the role of Safety Officer Onboard in very general terms. It does not go in deepth about the specific hazards and risks that can be found on vessels. I´m feeling disappointed because I did not learn anything new. This course does not worth what I have paid for it.”

Dear Nelson, thank you for your review and sorry to hear you are disappointed. Our Safety Officer Course has been developed in close cooperation with various passenger ship companies. We understand the background and former education is different for each participant. It is for that reason we try to keep our courses accessible to a wide audience and in line with IMO model courses and approval of various Shipping Inspectorates. I hope you understand, and we hope to see you back. Safe sailing! Kind regards, John & the STCW team
