Bought set of struts from these loosers and they will not stand behind their product! I purchased a set of 4 struts and shocks for my 2017 Buick Encore and two for the front of of my 2017 Honda Ridgeline and have no problem with most, but the front of the Buick struts make a noise sometimes when I hit a rough spot in the pavement. I contacted them and they are of no help. They keep insisting that I provide evidence of the issue. I have no equipment to monitor and record the issue when it happens so they have provided me with no help. These shocks are only a few months old and I have doen repairs to all of my vehicles since I was 16 and am now 69, so I know a little about parts and repairs. If Shockmasters cannot stand behind what they sell, their warranty is worthless. I will NOT be buying from them again and will advise all against them!

I bought the conversion kit for a 2015 Jeep Grand Cherokee. Installation was simple despite poor instructions and weren't for my specific vehicle. Started noticing creaking noise. Rechecked installation, all was good. Contacted Strutmaster's for guidance. They said they had never heard of a problem like that. Warranty is a joke as I would have to pay for new items and wait for a credit in 4-8 weeks. Plus, I would have to repeat all the labor involved at my expense. If the replacement parts also have an issue, well, here we go again. This isn't my first rodeo with trying to find quality replacement parts for overpriced OEM, but I haven't saved a dime and wasted more time than I should have. Strutmaster sells inferior quality parts. Half the price, ten times the headache. Waste of time and money.

Be sure you know exactly what you are getting. There return policy is a joke. $100 restocking fee on anything valued up to $500. plus shipping.

Inferior products do not stand behind their products. 2013 scion restored ride height trade off is knocking on bumps....not a "complete strut" sent video to them as they asked and crickets.

"I had a problem with my Hyundai Equus Air Suspension and fixing it would be very expensive (Hyundai does not back its flagship vehicles.) I started looking for an alternative. I came up with Strutmasters. I ordered the suspension system and was told it would arrive at my mechanic's shop in three to five days (I'll even give them work days although that was never mentioned). The problems began here. The suspension DID NOT arrive in 3-5 days, nor was it shipped during that 3-5-day delivery window. This went on and on with incorrect updated shipping times. I ordered the product on Sept 10 and it finally arrived on September 28. All in all, my car rental bill, because of Strutmasters, ran over $750. I could no longer keep adding rental expenses given the continued inaccuracies of Strutmasters delivery dates so I traded in my car and bought a new one. When the suspension finally arrived, I returned it to Strutmaster (cost $89 more out of my pocket to ship it back) and was charged a 20% restocking fee by Strutmaster. Really?????? This is after having to pay over $750 in rental charges because of Strutmasters' delays. If you use a company who treats its customers Strutmasters did me, you have to be OUT OF YOUR MIND." Rich

Buying Strutmasters for 2013 Cadillac XTS was a nightmare! First, no repair shop wanted to install a "conversion" strut kit saying they would not go against manufacturer's specifications. Second, you can get regular GM strut parts for about the same price. Third, you're gonna need upper mounts which don't come with Srutmasters, but they don't mention that. Don't waste your money.

I put the replacement rear shocks and springs on my 2008 Cadillac DTS. It road so bad that I tried to contact the Strut Madter Company to find out if they might of sent the wrong parts. The tech line said to leave a message and they would call me back. They never called back and the technical department is nonexistent. I put the original parts back on the car. I'm out the over $500.

Worst mistake I made. Driving a Mercedes equipped with AirMatic suspension should be a comfortable and soothing experience. After all, the smooth ride of a fine German luxury car is legendary! But as these vehicles age, the active air suspension system develops malfunctions. Here's my mistake, I replace this luxury ride for the Strutmasters conversion. Strutmasters conversion kit took a beautiful and enjoyable driving luxury automobile to that of a Dodge. Strutmasters didn't want to help and tried to avoid the issues I have at all costs. I can no longer enjoy my Mercedes to the point that I’m replacing the entire system back to the original Mercedes airmatic. The lack of customer service the fact they don’t care about you after the sale plus the crappy parts, wrong ride height, noise coming from the new parts, the unsafe freeway handling is the only reason to not buy from them ever! Check them out on yelp and other review sights too see just what other people say before spending your money and wasting your efforts.

Great sales people but inferior products. What they ship to you is not as advertised. I recently made a purchase and spent $500 + 30 shipping. I was unhappy with the product and only took it out of the box to inspect. I returned it and lost $100 due to a restocking fee (even though the product was still new/never installed) and payed another $30 to ship it back. The first attempt to return was calling their customer service dept which I NEVER got through to. It was forever busy. My success was only through email. Once I received the RA (Return Authorizations) I returned it via UPS so I could track it. It took two weeks for me to receive my refund after it was confirmed that the company received the product back. Buyer Beware.

Warning $100 restock fee Plus shipping. Order through Amazon! I purchased a stock conversion kit for a 1999 LX470. I called Strutmasters to cancel the order and transferred to a phone air tool noises. Called FedEx and Strutmasters has a clause that they can only cancel orders, NOT. I called purchasing as if I was trying to make an order. The same person answered my original order and told me not to order from Amazon. Their charm is a ripoff.

After replacing the factory hydraulic struts, with Strutmasters coilover replacements, the struts broke after 14 months and 12,000 miles. Both rear struts completely broke into. Their only solution was to sell me new ones add an expanded price

They only master bull****. Sent an uncomplete kit. (missing 2 parts) Hilariously there are 10 parts total. This is after an initial direct call with my VIN to customer service to make sure everything was exactly correct. After a day of install, we reviewed the online installation video (from the Strutmasters.com website) numerous times to try and figure out what we did wrong. Called their 24 hr. customer service an he said "Don't follow the online video instructions, those are wrong." Follow to paper instructions that came with the kit. Besides the two missing parts, there were no paper instructions included in the kit. BTW, the incorrect video was still live. That didn't matter as there were two parts missing. After my mechanic spent a full day trying to figure out what was wrong, and reviewing the Strutmasters.com video repeatedly, we had to purchase the missing parts (out of my pocket of course) Then I had to pay for a second day in the shop. When I put them on the phone together they tried to blame the issue on me saying I ordered the wrong kit. (I purchased the most expensive kit that was needed according to their sales rep.) I paid 2x as much for their product so I wouldn't have to deal with this. They never sent the replacement parts or an reimbursement for either the parts or labor.

BEWARE Mercedes Benz owners. I made the very bad mistake of purchasing these pos's for my Cl 500 and had them put on by a certified machine like they wanted. After them installed I noticed the drivers side front was a inch lower than the passenger side. Then the center nut stripped out with less than 500 miles on them. This is how the strut is mounted to the car so it banged when it was driven. Plus all the struts squeak so bad people walking turn to look at what he noise is all about. Before I bought this junk I had the front end rebuilt by a certified mechanic. When I went to my mechanic he showed me what the problem was that the nut I the center was made of bad inferior material. When I called they tried all the excuses I've told you about in these warning. They wanted my to pay for the replacement strut and send the broken one back at my cost!! Which is over a $100 bucks. So they double screw you. I can't imagine it's just Mercedes owners getting screwed by these things so all car owners BEWARE!! Just ANOTHER DISATIFED CUSTOMER

Purchased a conversion kit for my 2014 Hyundai Equus. Turned out the installer did not properly install the parts and I had rattling noises. Strutmasters stayed in contact with me and a subsequent mechanic who was able to correct the issues. Jeff @ Strutmasters always took my calls, offered helpful suggestions, and was glad to also talk to the correcting mechanic. I highly recommend Strutmasters and the conversion kit I bought. End result is excellent so far - 12,000+ miles.

After what could be considered normal repairs to the Air Suspension system on my 2005 Ford Crown Victoria, my last straw was when the compressor failed. I bought the rear coil conversion set, and was mainly concerned about ride height. Luckily, it was a perfect solution to my Air Ride issues. Ride height was perfect, parts went in in less than one hour, and since this conversion, I have had no noises or other problems.
