Terrible, paid £160 for some Bose EarPods. They never worked properly, hissing sound, couldn’t hold a charge. Tried to speak to their customer service but could never get beyond the chat bot, every time it said I’d be connected to an agent nothing happened, I waited, waited, waited. Product defective, so either a cheap copy or refurbished, feel totally ripped off. Now having to pursue a case through Visa to recover my money. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY.

Prices look good but if things go wrong you're on your own. Royal Mail concluded after two months they had indeed lost my earbuds. Only then did TITB offer (lilac coloured) replacements. No thanks. After promising the refund within 48 hours they never did - and ignored my chaser emails. Cynical. Avoid.

I placed an order for an iPad 10 on 3 September and received it two weeks later. While the device appeared to be brand new, it came preconfigured with Remote Management, making it impossible for me to set up. I promptly reported this issue to Techinthebasket. However, after a series of delays, I was asked to provide photos of the package and a video demonstrating the setup problem, which I did. Subsequently I received a message stating “this issue has been raised internally.” However, for the entire following week, there was no further communication. I made two additional inquiries but received no response. Growing increasingly frustrated, I made the difficult decision to return the product for a refund. The company requested that I pay the postage fee for the return, despite my explanation that the issue was not my fault, but rather that I had received the wrong product. Unfortunately, my request went unanswered. Eventually, the company agreed to the refund and stated the process would take 3 to 7 working days. However, as of today 1 November, after 10 working days, I am still waiting for the refund to appear in my account. The issue when dealing with their customer support is a total lack of response, long delays, actions not following their words, and not actively solving customer problems. Additionally, while their website lists a contact number, it lacks extension information, resulting in my calls being abruptly disconnected. The online chat feature also proved to be unhelpful. Regrettably, this has been an extremely disappointing experience. I understand that some people give this company a 5-star rating on Trustpilot since they are lucky to receive the correct product. However, once you encounter a problem, such as receiving the wrong product like myself, the nightmare can begin. Therefore I would caution anyone against making purchases from this company.

I ordered a nitendo switch for my daughters birthday which i never received, after checking tracking it was left in my front garden (plant pot) with out authorisation & wasn't secure. contacted tech in the basket & they said it wasn't there problem as it was delivered but clearly it wasn't, there customer service was very rude & ignorant. avoid at all costs, my daughters birthday was ruined & im £136 out of pocket 👍

I have sent in hundreds of emails to these people/robots BUT NO ONE HAS EVER COME BACK TO ME THEY SAY THEIR PRODUCTS GET SENT FROM THEIR MANCHESTER OFFICE... THEY DONT EVEN HAVE ONE... TWO UK PHONE NUMBERS WITH ANSWERING MACHINES ON THEN THEY SEND ME OUT A CHINA MODLE TELEPHONE WHICH WILL NEVER WORK IN TH WE UK SCAMMERS STAY CLEAR I HAVE BEEN TRYING I VER 18 MONTH'S NOW GO TY NOWHERE WHAT A BUNCH OF CROOKS Tip for consumers: Do not buy from this company Products used: NONE

I had a very bad experience with this online seller. They sell devices without European registration. In the case that you would need to be benefitted by the warranty, they will do nothing to support you and will try to charge you, exactly as happened with me. After awaiting more than a month to implement warranty, after having an official report from Samsung UK stating the defect of the device and no physical impact by myself, they did offer me a solution to repair the device in an excessive cost, better to buy a new device... thus no warranty. I really struggled with the dishonest and slow customer care. In the end I had to do dispute via my bank to get compensated. If you buy something expensive, do not risk with them. Also the delivery for the initial purchase was very slow (two weeks). No phone numbers for communication. Email correspondence extremely slow and taking no action. I really do not understand how they granted permission to operate in UK with all these faulty procedures and without a contact number for communication

Placed an order, ended up wanting to cancel, before it was dispatched. Over a month later, item was never dispatched and still waiting for a refund. DO NOT USE. Opening a dispute with PayPal for refund as they no longer reply to any emails.

Techinthebasket is a complete scam! They set up websites in various countries to make it appear they are located in those countries, but they are actually all operated out of China. You might get a good price on a tech product, but shipping is slow, and if anything goes wrong, you will be out all of your money. I bought a Smartphone that turned out to be defective. It was sold with a two year warranty, but quit working after just a few months. I returned it more than 5 months ago for repair or replacement, but now they just give me the run around. Now they have my phone and my money! Theft!

FRAUD COMPANY. I BOUGHT A NEW PHONE IN THE MONTH OF JUNE 2022. THEY SENT ME A FAULTY PHONE WHICH I RETURNED THEM WITH IN 30 DAYS. AS PER RETURN POLICY, THEY SHOULD REFUND ME FULL. THEY FORCED ME TO PAY FOR THE RETURN POSTAGE AS WELL. BUT, AFTER STRUGGLING WITH THEM FOR 3-4 MONTHS. TODAY, 02 NOVEMBER 2022, THEY REFUNDED ONLY £300 AND DEDUCTED £287.99. I PAID THEM £587.99. VERY VERY VERY POOR AND FRAUD COMPANY. WILL NEVER RECOMMEND THEM TO ANYONE.

RETURNED THE WATCH I BOUGHT AS IT ARRIVED LATE, THE COMPANY HAVE HAD THE WATCH BACK OVER 2 WEEKS NOW AND STILL HAVEN'T ISSUED A REFUND, CUSTOMER SERVICE IS USELESS SAYING THEY WILL CHASE IT UP BUT DO NOTHING, DO YOURSELF FAVOR AND AVOID

Outrages / AVOID The worse customer service I have ever dealt with. Phone broke down after 1 month of usage, has taken them 2 months to take action (I was without the phone for 2 months), forced me to pay for parcel and repair. Phone broke down again 40 days after receiving it. Waiting week for response, just to be sent a video of the repair itself. There is 24 months warranty and the company is not willing to help. AVOID at any cost.

I really wish I'd read the Reviews BEFORE buying from this company 👎 I bought a new OnePlus 10 from them, when it finally arrived (after about 10 days) it didn't work properly and had a defective Fingerprint Reader. I contacted TiTB (only possible via email) and then I spent 2+ weeks exchanging emails with them to try to get them to give me my money back! ☹️ All they offered was constant suggestions on how to "reset the phone", providing out of date information and completely ignoring my UK Consumer rights. In the end a contacted PayPal and got PayPal to claim the money back for me 👍😁 If you're looking to use this company, don't be blinded by the cheap prices. What you get is poor quality imported products (my phone came with a foreign charger) and HORRIFIC Customer Service👎. You can't phone them, everything's done very email and takes 48 hours for any responses, oh and they just ignore UK Consumer law. Avoid, avoid, avoid - you've been warned 😉

Horrible company to deal with if your device gets faulty even under warranty. They fail to repair and provide any solution, they are ignoring emails completely. You will be stuck with faulty unusuable device. Avoid buying from them!! For me it's time to take them to court! Avoid avoid avoid !

It’´s a scam! The phone’s screen arrived with dead pixels, then it broke. I returned as advised but no news since 2 months!!! They do not respond to any emails.

Awful customer service. Over a month to accept a returned faulty phone and refund - still waiting It's currently day 36. Lack luster email responses. I currently feel extremely anxious that I may not get the £899 I spent back. I would seriously avoid this organisation.

Sell, sell, sell - no warranty After a few uses, the wireless microphone set purchased from TechInTheBasket can no longer be switched on. The set, which was otherwise as good as new, was returned to TITB via RMA for repair. In ten weeks, no replacement parts could allegedly be obtained, although the device was still being sold. TITB refused the exchange and instead offered a credit note of only 40 EUR instead of the purchase price of almost 180 EUR. Despite repeated correspondence, TITB refuses to honour its legal warranty obligation.

If I could leave zero stars I would. Terrible customer service. Made contact numerous times since November 2020 regarding an item that was not received. It is the responsibility of the sender to investigate this with the courier. There is no route for the recipient to take this up with the courier. I have had no substantive response to my email - just a standard blurb and then radio silence. So have resorted to leaving a review. I would seriously urge you to buy elsewhere. It is simply not worth saving a couple of quid buying from this seller and run the risk of losing all your money.

Scam site. DO NOT USE. They set up two fake deliveries stating no-one was home, when there was on both occasions. DPD, the delivery company is impossible to reach after the first phone call. Techinthebasket do not respond to emails. They sent one email stating my funds would be refunded. That was a month ago. Complete sham site. DO NO USE. You have been warned.
