They tried to charge me £40 delivery to Northern Ireland from mainland UK, when Royal mail is the same cost across rhe UK including Northern Ireland, be watchful for unnecessary hidden fees

Ordered samsung phone , loads of problems about payment , which had left my account on 2 day . So decided to get refund , iam still waiting 2 days later for payment , they now do not answer my emails , so things are getting worse , do not use this company until i get paid , I will keep you informed !!

ordered some air pods on August20th have still not received these and they are now saying it has not been handed to the courier The money was withdrawn on August 23rd,so lame excuses are futile I do not have a tracking number so clearly the courier does not have the item.i feel that this may ramble on but I will never use the company again.Very disappointing

Ordered a Boox Note 3 on the 15th of November, I have been immediately provided with a tracking number that never worked... the item never arrived. I have been given all sort of excuses... after almost 2 months I applied for a refund and also here excuses... In the end (after 2 months), I had to claim my money back through PayPal. 18th December ordered Sony headphones. 19th December payment taken on my debit card by PayPal. Same day supplied with Royal Mail tracking code and advised order would soon be trackable. 20 days later Royal Mail still do not recognise tracking number. Contacted seller who advised that Royal Mail had held up delivery but wouldnt say why. Subsequently advised Royal Mail had difficulty in identifying my address and was asked to confirm it which I did.I have lived here for 40 years and never has there been any delivery issue.Some days later again told that Royal Mail were holding up my delivery for unknown reason. Three times I have requested evidence that the parcel was handed over to Royal Mail.. Have never been supplied with this information. Three times have requested refund . These requests have been ignored. Only yesterday (6.1.21). they advised they would recall the parcel from Royal Mail and on return they would issue a refund.I am quite satisfied I will never receive my order or refund. Not surprising that I am sure in my mind this has all been a scam and fraudulent. Many others have described similar accounts. It is quite obvious Royal Mail have never seen my parcel and hence are unable to identify the supplied tracking code.

SCAMMING THIEVES, AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE, providing FAKE delivery tracking numbers, bought a phone of their website which never arrived, when i asked them to contact royal mail "because in this case royal mail would only accept claims from the SENDER" they just said they did, but I'm sure they didn't, because they refused to show royal mail's response, much less a prof of delivery. I'll be spreading the word in every way possible, hope you CHOKE and DIE on my honest hard work money you SOULLESS THIEVES.

Totally disgracefull company don't receive the goods or refund after 7 weeks tracking number doesn't even work had to go through the bank for charge back to get my money back this company is RUBBISH and FRAUDULANT !!! AVOID AT ALL COST

Say it how it is! Say it how it is! Simple. I purchased a Samsung galaxy 20 plus from this company, not knowing until payment was made that is was in fact in Hong Kong, I used PayPal to purchase as a safe guard, £554.00 later! It arrived on the 8th day, then problems! It was not 4g, it was LTE, 3g, would not pick up 4g after reset etc! Came with a 3 pin adaptor for use in the UK! Battery life was shockingly bad, I did question if it was in fact a new Phone! But was told it was. Any way they accepted my request to return and emailed where to send it, a UK business address, So I sent it back and it was delivered the next day using DPD! My postage was £40.00 pounds of which £30 pounds to cover loss for insurance. Thay have refunded my money for phone but nothing for my postage costs! So I am out of pocket for the privilege! I personally will never purchase anything like this again outside of the UK just to save a few pounds! Lesson learnt

I bought an Apple iPad mini 5 last year. Two weeks before the warranty ran out it stopped working. They have messed me about for 10 weeks coming up with so many excuses blaming me for damaging it. Now saying it. Is out of warranty and want me to pay for the repair. Will never buy from this company ever again.

I ordered a lens with techinthebasket. The next day my order was cancelled without any information, got an email from paypal that I will get my money back. I contacted techinthebasket, i was told the product is not available ? Went back to their website, product is still there and more expensive ! Very disappointed with this company !

CROOKS I WOULD NOT ADVISE USING THIS COMPANY!! Had I read these poor reviews before placing my order, I wouldn't have used them. Everything I've read has come true. I placed an order the same way I would with any other online company. They send you a receipt email at the time of ordering and then a processing email including a tracking number a day or 2 later. The tracking number is fake. Although they say it will take a few days for it to become active. It doesn't. At no point has this number worked. A month and a week later and no item or refund. Currently they claim the courier (Royal Mail) has collected and they are unable to contact the courier to arrange a return. Madness. Two weeks ago they agreed to refund me in 1-3 days. The refund never arrives. I'm taking legal action to recover my refund and fees. All I wanted was a pair of headphones for my exercise. PLEASE DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!! ITS NOT WORTH THE STRESS AND ENERGY

Was sent Chinese phone that does not work in the UK. After much back and forth, got refund, excluding insured shipping cost. Do not use!

I purchased two iPhone XR mobile from TITB my phone was received, unopened box with a genuine iPhone. iPhone worked well for 34 days but the power board failed so I took it to Apple Cardiff for repair/fault diagnostic. This is when I was told the phone was never destined for the UK market due to the fact it was a Chinese model and that the parts are unavailable in the UK for repair. TITB responded by offering me either to repair the iPhone themselves with 2-5 week repair time or I could take it to a repair dealer of my choice and have it repaired. I chose the later due to the repair time - the repair came back at £300 due to a failed power board. I contacted TITB and they offered £25 to cover repair costs, I declined this offer. The phone was sent back to Manchester for repair where a couple of weeks later I was told that they were waiting on parts. Great. They required me to remove find my phone and remove the Apple ID which I did but required my Apple ID to fully remove the device - I removed all personal info off my Apple ID and sent them my password, they evening a request to access my Apple ID was made from Hong Kong. TITB had lied and sent my phone back to China for repair. Now TITB are saying that the fault wasn’t from the factory and that the warranty doesn’t cover this also they are asking €180 to fix the phone. The fault is a failed component within the phone now something wear and tear after 34 days could of caused it. Their customer service is terrible as they will only answer any emails in the early hours of the morning clearly their service centre is in China. If you want a product at a discounted rate from other main street retailers then choose TITB but you will not have any warranty if something goes wrong. Terrible customer service and they will blatantly lie about every - I posted this review before 10/9/19 but they asked me to delete it. Please see their email below “We are sorry for the inconvenience caused to you. We have noticed that you placed a negative comment about us. We understand that as a loyal customer, when you make a purchase you expect to receive your product in a timely manner. We know that we have let you down, and for that we are very sorry. Please accept our apologies on behalf of TechintheBasket for the problems you've had and our thanks for taking the time to make us aware of this. Please be assured that we take letting down seriously and will use this information to make further improvements. Here we would like to cover the repair fee. Would you please eliminate the negative comment first? Once confirmed the comment has been deleted, we would arrange the repaired device to your address right away. Looking forward to hearing from you.” Phone was received but the camera didn’t work and the Phone wouldn’t accept my SIM card. Now they want another £120 to fix the phone which they couldn’t repair in the first place. Absolute disgrace. 24/10/19 - all new Apple iPhones have a 12 month warranty! You have just proved my point that you offer a shoddy repair service and make up anything to try and get the customer to pay. Apple have confirmed that if this was a UK phone then the phone would of been replaced. You’re selling cheap goods without valid warranties - I am now reporting you to trading standards UK.
