Consistently bad reception, line cuts out and disconnects daily. No voicemail facility, mis-sold the contract as no one told me there was no voicemail or that the line was consistently bad in my area. Customer Service appalling. They are rude and just fob me off. I have been fobbed off with needing a new SIM. I have already changed the SIM once it doesn’t change anything. Said they will send out another new SIM . Not done. Said they will send another one. Not done. Tesco lied to the Ombudsman that voicemail is now fixed, it isn’t. The woman agent said that voicemail is an ongoing issue, and Tesco have no plans to fix the lack of voicemail. They fob me off all the time. As mentioned, fobbed off twice with needing a new SIM and then that I need to try a Device Guide. This consisted of a email with a guide on how to use a mobile phone. Nothing to help the phone work is picking up reception. These people are liars and cheats and I would not recommend them to anyone. Their network also does not support texting with certain numbers such as Plusnet, Virgin media, or hospitals. And you cannot use their network on iPhones to tether. They don’t tell you that do they? AVOID at all costs. The cost is substantial with a phone and network not fit for purpose.

Tesco disconnected my number after I credited £30 to my account and now don't seem to be able to reconnect the number, which is a business one, after a month and loads of calls to them despite many guarantees that it would be working after 24 hours. Can't wait any longer I'm off elsewhere Avoid.

Very bad service cheap service unprofessional staff customer service last 5 days sim not received my phone not working 5days and no one care about that so don’t use Tesco Mobile worst experience ever.

Three weeks and still no sim card and customer service no help just tell you we will resend and wait four working days , Can get the phone and sim next day but not a sim or any way of tracking order.

Disaster from the start , changed from o2 for a better tariff . Fone would not switch off answer fone . Three Sims later and a new fone (told it was faulty) it still did not work . It took a month to find out they had an issue . To make matters worse they took out D/D for both fones . It took weeks to sort . I eventually just went in and turned it off after 6 weeks . No call or anything to tell me it was sorted . Stress , stress , stress . This is a fone used for medical emergency.

When your service drops with tesco as im sure it does with all providers you try to speak to customer services for either compensation or a complaint this is where your problems start you will be ignored told they will ring you back spend hours on the phone getting nowhere you see this is why tesco have least complaints than any other provider because you cannot complain you accept their offer of money off your bill for a phone you have no signal for or nothing .excellent cut out the middleman go straight to o2

Worst customer service I ever received from any company. Customer service have no access to anything, all they do is to leave the notes on your account. All I need is letter of usage from more than a month and they have no clue how to do that. Their outlet staff which is customer service have another customer service 🤦‍♂️ they need to chat to discuss queries.

OK, I very rarely get annoyed enough to write a review. However I'm absolutely fuming at the complete at utter incompetence of Tesco mobile. I had a bill query regarding my simm only tariff. Which was sorted immediately, the operator then after chatting convinced me to take out a new contract "don't worry I'll write off the remaining 20 months of simm only remaining" I received my new Flip 4, lovely looking phone, the change over from the old simm to the new will be trouble free. The the incompetence starts, 4 days I had to wait with the tesco mobile staff telling me this never happens! Well it's happening to me. I called every day as I need a mobile phone due to my job!! 4 days later it goes live, then they want a pat on the back! Now today, I received a bill telling me I'm being charged for ending my simm only contract early... You said I wouldn't have to pay that?? What's going on? Your elbow doesn't know what your backside is doing. Now there going to listen to the previous conversations to make sure I'm not a lying... Your the ones telling me lies" this never normally happens" I have my flip 4 for 2 weeks, 4 days of which I can't use as the simm isn't live. Then after 7 days the phone won't open, but tesco dont cover this in their warranty! Because I didn't take their insurance out!! Come tesco up your game or just sell groceries. Most likely go back to O2 if this is the level of service that "never happens" If you're thinking of changing to Tesco mobile.. Good luck. Not a happy Geoff

Tesco mobile have taken over 50 pounds from my bank account that they are not entitled to. I am currently reporting them through my bank for fraud. Do not give Tesco mobile your bank details or you will regret it.

Paying insurance with Tesco they still asked for money for a hand set that does not work. Terrible service never again after being a loyal customer for years. It would help if customer services understood problems.

returned new phone to tesco by dpd they got their phone back i have a contract with them for 2 phones one was lost so ordered a new one for my partner he found is old one so returned the new one my bill for aug came in at 390pounds they said dont worry you will be refunded my bill should be 30/40 per month got sep bill in 40 fine still no refund from last month they owe me 360 pounds still waiting lost track of the calls to them called again today said they would call back at 1.15 still waiting it is now 4.20 not happy with them

ongoing SIM problems which straddled the warranty lifetime of the phone. Despite the problem not being resolved during warranty, Tesco insisted on taking the phone back for repair (I was told this takes 3 weeks, and I have to pay). I refused the offer and tried to complain about its unfairness. Bad mistake. Over the last 5 days I have spent 6 hours trying to have a meaningful conversation with Tesco Mobile. Their staff won't register a complaint, won't pass you on to a manager and won't honour promises of a callback. Utterly disgraceful

I ordered two Samsung mobile phones 📱 over £400 order. Due for delivery on 26th Feb 2022. Didn’t arrive contacted customer service they opened an investigation with DPD. Customer service said I would receive a call on Friday to give me an update. No one called had to chase, and still no update. They think the phones are lost, but still haven’t offered me a refund.

I joined Tesco mobile on Saturday. For the first 2 hours of putting the SIM in my phone, I had to call customer service 8 times and had 2 chat conversations. I had constant problems and come call number 7, I had had enough. I asked for a refund. I bought a 5£ bundle and had £10 of credit that was unused. They refused to refund me and told me if I left Tesco, I'd lose all my credit. That is absolutely disgusting. My plan is working now but once I have used the £10 credit, I will be leaving Tesco. It is unacceptable to refuse to refund someone for the poor service you supplied (I didn't even ask for the £5bundle I was trying to use to be refunded). Because of the refusal to refund, I am leaving Tesco and will go elsewhere. Vodafone refunded me when I left them. If they had offered cheaper PAYG plans, I would never have left Vodafone. Now it's Tuesday and I have no service. I have had Tesco mobile for less than 4 days. Moving to Tesco was the worst decision I have ever made. I filed a complaint, called and checked that the complaint had been done, and guess what? The incompetent advisor hadn't filed the complaint. Have tried speaking to a manager twice and guess what? They refuse to take calls. This is the most disgusting service I have ever had. If you are thinking about moving to Tesco mobile, DON'T DO IT. Unless you like to be constantly annoyed, love having no service, and love constant problems. You have stolen so many hours of my life. Will be ditching shopping at Tesco too after this. they overcharged me for being behind on my phone bill I was charged 50 euro and I rang to pay it, sorted. Next day another 80 euro is charged from my account and they claim they can only see the one payment on there system. after being on hold for over 2 hours. I asked when my contract was up and they added on 7 months from when i suspected it was suppose to be up. I finally got they to look into that during the phone call and they concluded that it was only 9 months instead of 16. Really poor customer service overall even though the care assistants are generally nice but have little power to actually fix anything , really bad internet but the relentless billing and late payment charges that stack is just a pain. Would really recommend any one else Tesco is just at the bottom of the food chain.

Just moved to the UK and I loved the look of the Tesco plan. First go I'm on the phone with sales, going through all the details. After an hour we finally find out I cant sign up because I dont have a UK bank account. Woman was clueless. Sounded like she was on drugs. So second go a week later, I'm on hold trying to get through. Get cut off 2 straight times. From there I said screw this. Have gone with a prepaid plan. Up your game if you want to get new customers! What a joke.
