Just transferred over to Tesco Mobile based on price. Got my new sim and tried to set up ! New sim wouldn’t work and so couldn’t make calls or texts ! Called Tesco on my wife’s phone to explain ! Went through numerous things to sort issue that didn’t work so they said they’d send replacement. After the phone call I tried a few more times to replace sim and suddenly started to work. Literally 5 mins after speaking to Tesco I called them back to explain issue had been resolved, sim working and my old number to be connected in two days ! All good ! Now Tesco tell me that they won’t cancel new sim, they ordered 5 mins earlier and so now will stop my service in a few days and will have to go through all the same again and try to get my original number for no reason at all ! Utter stupidity ! The staff I spoke to refused to do anything and basically said “tough s##t” been with them a day and already realised just how bad their customer service is ! To cause an issue that doesn’t exist and annoy a customer is utterly crazy ! Terrible service !!

I have just wasted an hour of my life trying to order a sim only contract on line. I could not get through the checkout, so engaged a chat person and wasted another 30 mins. I eventually got a phone number and spoke to an agent who stated that TESCO MOBILE DO NOT DEAL WITH ON LINE BANKS !!!! What will they do when all high street branches close. This is ridiculous !!!!! Their loss !

Horrendous reception, it's been like this for a year or more. I was given a refund at one point, but have one bar of signal and am tied in to a SIM contract. Am still paying for a service with no coverage.

I rarely write reviews, but my recent experience with Tesco Mobile Hodge hill staff left me frustrated and disappointed. The in-store staff seemed disinterested and unwilling to help. She just gossips with her friend and asked us to wait. That's not the way you guys treat your customers.

Data speed 59kbps 😕 - 1990's performance in 2025, for over a week! And according to Tesco Mobiles text message this situation could last another 2 weeks! Iam just thankful I didn't take out a 2 year agreement with these clowns 🤡 Iv already lined up a new provider (EE) who are happy to pay off the early termination fee.. And unlike Tesco, EE can provide 5G in my location.. Tesco struggles with 4G......

for many years now I have excellent experience with Tesco mobile, even after moving abroad. Recently I requested a replacement sim card and I got one sent immediately. The phone operator was competent and helpful. A pleasant service all the way. 10 out of 10 from me.

Absolutely shocking customer service from Tesco Mobile. I was coerced into taking out contracts during an abusive relationship, and despite police involvement and support from a caseworker, Tesco has ignored my situation and closed my case without helping. Staff dismiss genuine cases and just push payment plans. If you're vulnerable or need real support—do NOT bother with Tesco Mobile. They do not care.

Brought a faulty phone from Tesco’s in Ely Cambridgeshire they would not exchange it for a new one. They only offered me a repair option that will take 10 days and were incredibly rude the manager and Dylan.

Customer service beyond appalling. Antagonistic, shouted over me almost the entire time. Tried gaslighting me, obviously and sarcastic insincere apologies, just taking the Micky. Left an older vulnerable customer without a service for potentially weeks due to their mistake. They are totally disinterested, I don't know how they sleep at night. Tesco mobile customer service agents used to be the best ones but clearly there has been some kind of change of policy since a year ago as now they are so bad, and my recent experience was so bad that it's difficult for me to speak about it as it was so traumatic.

I am extremely disappointed and saddened with the way I have been treated as a consumer. I feel that I have been scammed. I intially went on a family sim only deal paying £20 for the first phone and £10 for the second phone. However the prices went up slowly during the contract and I was paying £46.14 for both towards the end of the contract. I was then sent an email asking me to upgrade which I did as it showed that the value will be £29 for both ( £19 for the first and £10 for the second as before or that's what I understood). They charged me £29.79 for February and £31.37 March as expected (assumed the small uplift was due to inflation), however I got an email today to inform me that my April bill will be £51.37. When I called their customer service (appalling customer service) I have been told that I am no longer on the family discount, one of my telephone contract has now ended and my bill will be £31.37. The second phone is in contract for 24 months and termination fee is £336. I feel that I have been misled by their website and email. Their website was not very clear and my understanding was that I was paying £30 for both phones and thats why I clicked the upgrade button. In addition, the bill was as expected for the following 2 months and therefore I didn't contact them within 14 days of the cool off period. Doesn't Tesco knows acquiring and retaining customer gives them compative advantage. In addition, consumer referral!

I was told my number would be up and running by 6pm the following day. However since leaving the previous supplier my iPhone is dead and left in limbo. There are support numbers to help out so guess I’ll have to go buy another mobile so I can contact Tesco. Thanks Tesco for the stress and inconvenience of not being able to do my banking or call the local hospital. Absolutely shocking service by Tesco.

Not receiving calls or making calls. Only WhatsApp is working. Plus I got a new sim card in October in tesco arkeen with the same issue. Plus I have spoken to 3 other people with the same problem

Customer care is abysmal. Nothing gets done. I was scammed in Sept 2024 and despite making over 20 calls my direct debit hasn't been amended to the original amount i was paying. Disgusting 'service' although the operators are very polite and caring. That isn't helpful in resolving the issue.!!!!
