“Impressed by the speed of delivery given the current crisis. I’d ordered 6 mixed McPherson wines at a good price, and so far have had the Chardonnay and Sauvignon blanc. I haven’t drunk white wine for quite a while, but these were very enjoyable. My only criticism is that I expected 3 red, 2 white and 1 rose, but got 3 white and 2 red plus the rose. However, they’re great so far!”

“We visited the pip stop on a number of occasions while it was located in Lanchester. However we moved location so found it difficult to visit. The web site is easy to use and the wine selection very good. The delivery arrived early which was a real bonus overall I would recommend to friends and relatives..”

“Hiya. Friendly company to deal with. We were grateful to get a shipment of wine in these difficult times. However, not sure if we would re-order the same wine under normal circumstances. The wine was sound but not terribly exciting. The nicest bottles were the red cotes de gascogne. We wouldnt buy the chilean sauvignon 'Altaria' again. That was a bit characterless? Thanks again for your efforts.”

“Good range of wines, but narrow on craft beers, excellent NZ Gewurtztraminer. Got back to me v quickly to say what wasn’t in stock which was useful. Delivery wasn’t as specified on website (came at different time and didn’t follow delivery instructions) but ok at second attempt”

“Best place to find the chocolate red wine my wife enjoys for an evening tipple at a good price. Had to pay over £70 for free postage this time but over all satisfied. Excellent delivery service, prompt and well documented via email and text”

“They have a tempting range of wine. I ordered three English sparkling reds which should have been delivered on New Year's Eve but they never arrived. Pit Stop were quick to apologise and refund but next day the wine turned up. So I repaid and put them away for next December. Verdict: a good company let down by their carriers.”

“Ordering was quick and easy, delivery was speedy. unfortunately my ordered wine was a 2017 instead of a 2016, but the small print did state that that might be the case....”
