I am still awaiting news of a service to a Baume & Mercier dress watch after 3 months at Watch Lab , Southampton. Constantly calling for information, only to be told the watch is with ‘quality control ‘. The same position after 2 weeks. Now demanded my property to be returned. Absolute disgrace. Now in embarrassing position of having to either call the police or instruct solicitors. How can a business be that bad?

Very good service but .... very expensive £95 for a replacement battery. Battery life two to three years, think I will just buy a Casio G shock watch when this battery goes flat half the price.

Very efficient and friendly service but my husband was horrified when he learnt I'd spent £95 on a new battery for my Tag watch and another £25 to clean the outside!

Expensive charge to replace battery in Tissot watch. Sent away to their head office for 'expert' attention but they set the date completely incorrectly which I only discovered when I returned home. Sent an email to point this out but they did not bother to give me the courtesy of a reply.

The email asking for the review was poor, it assumes it was a completely positive experience, and rather than asking for honest feedback (to do better) it only asks for positive feedback. Very Poor. 'Almost all our customers are delighted with what we offer. Very occasionally however, we have got things wrong leading to a few people choosing to vent their frustrations on an external review website. Please would you be so kind to leave a positive review on the website' For the record I thought the price was expensive, but as I was on holiday I was happy to pay the extra for the convenience. The 'salesman' was very pushy about the cleaning service, the watch was in a 'very poor state' so he will throw in a half price clean for me. He then immediately asked for payment! When I told him I didn't want it cleaned he was visibly irritated (as was I, as he never actually asked if I wanted it) and said he would need to 're-enter the order on the system now.' Overall the 1 hour service was good, though pricey. The salesman was rude (Brent Cross, London).

The staff were very helpful and went extra mile to assist me. Unfortunately the prices are very high. I had to go there as I had no choice but I don't think I will come back there again. It's a shame as the lady that was looking after my watch was amazing.

Great at beginning and end. No service while my watch was getting fixed and only given a receipt. No call to tell me when it was ready and more expensive than other small independents but willing to pay if the service is there. I had to chase in the end, expected more.

Battery replaced and watch cleaned as expected, however receipt says not waterproof despite attendant telling me it passed the waterproof test. OMEGA SEAMASTER Glasgow, silverburn branch

Expensive repair to Casio watch. Had work done due to sentimental attachment of time piece otherwise would have been cheaper to buy another watch by same company. Watch returned 6 weeks later with scratches to face. Would not use this service again.

Casio Edifice, a screw in the face had become detached and prevented hand movement. My watch was over 5 weeks delayed in returning from your lab, only to learn that it had been sent back to Casio. I was not informed this would happen and if I had then I would have sent it directly myself. Despite me calling to enquire the reason for the delay on three occasions, Ii was not told it had been with Casio until the final time and I was not impressed.

Technically i have absolutely no doubt that you are competent to do the job but what you have in technical skill you lose in customer service. I have never in my entire life come across a more rude set of store attendants. While I like that fact you know what you have to do to fix a watch, i will definitely hesitate to use you again because of the poor service received from you store attendant at Brent Cross and I'm sure I am not alone in this observation.
