Dear customer service Dear customer service, I have not heard back from you. Could you please send me a smart return label? One did not come with my package and I'd like to return the item as it is too small. So far I have worked very hard to get a return label, harder than I have ever had to work with a retailer in my life. I am an "online only" shopper and am very experienced at ordering, and when necessary, returning items. Here's my journey to return an item to The White Company: Ordered, received item and decided to return item. Visited your website and found it complicated - was not able to get a return label on my own. (So odd for this experienced shopper! What's going on? I read instructions and it says email customer service.) Emailed Customer Service 13 Dec with initial request for a return label - checked my email daily and have received no response. 16 December, now fearful I'll never hear back and won't be able to return these pants unless I figure this out on my own, went on a 2 hour loop between e-receipt, "thank you for shopping with us" document found in the package, and your website which then routed me back to the smart label in my package, which was not included. There was a part of your site that said "log in using your order number" which took me to nowhere again. After getting frustrated with the loop between the return directions on your site and the return paper in the package and my e-receipt, I called your customer service number. After 29 minutes on hold, I spoke to Mr X (protecting the innocent here) who told me to go to the website to print a return label!!! I shared the challenges I have experienced using the website and asked him to please create a return label on his end and email it to me (which is what your instructions online offer as an option for your customers). As I am a customer (pauses for acknowledgement of customer status), I felt my request was fair. He said he needed to contact "the back office" as he was unable to do generate the smart label for me. I'm now at minute 52:12 (exactly per nifty phone timer) and still on the phone (that time includes wait time). We are waiting and periodically, Mr X tells me that we are still holding and he is "still very much with me" which I appreciate greatly. I hear typing. At nearly an hour, 58 minutes and 41 seconds (exactly) and patiently waiting on the phone, Mr X tells me a manager will get back to me. His voice sounds thin like even he doesn’t believe it. Now I am praying that someone will get back to me with a smart label for my return. I pray “the manager” isn’t the ONLY manager managing this $hit show but honestly believe they might be. Today has passed and the manager has not responded. Don’t get snookered people. If reading this before ordering, just don’t. The White Co must be close to bankruptcy and is probably using this holiday season as their last opportunity to make bank which means “no returns for you!” I settle in my chair and ponder my life mistakes, this being just one and scold myself: “Lisa, suck it up. You have tried and failed. Put your damn too-small pants on Facebook Marketplace to recoup some loss. And learn from this! Things are no longer as they were. You cannot expect integrity or quality of service any longer. Those pre Covid days are over.” I hang my head in shame for my lofty expectations and quietly mutter to myself “&$@#”. I miss ye olden times and I fear the future. Terrible service.I have a gift vouchers from white company,they told me there is no expire date,came to the shop and they told me they are not except them anymore!so I lost £60 , terrible service, didn't expect that from white company

Still waiting for my refund I ordered a light back in February which when it arrived I decided may be too big for my room. I contacted the white company to get the item picked up as it classes as furniture so cannot be returned to store. They advised that wincanton would pick up the light and make contact to arrange. 10 days passed and no contact so I contacted them via the online chat where they advised me to give them a bit longer. After 2 weeks of waiting I contacted again and they referred it to DPD to collect. DPD came to pick it up. The next day DPD tried to re deliver it to me! After eventually getting the light back to where it needed to go on April 7th the white company confirmed they had received the light back. They asked me to put my card information in over the phone which I did and here I am on 27th April and I have still not received my £450 back! I have called 4 times, had several online chats and still waiting for the manager to call me back and have no idea when I will receive my money back and they cannot tell me or identify what the issue is. I’ve been referred to accounts then IT and it appears that everytime I call nothing has been done. I am a big white company fan but this has completely ruined it for me. Absolutely avoid dealing with them if you can buy similar elsewhere incase you have to return something to them. Having looked on Twitter it would appear I am not the first to fall Victim to this shambles

A generous 1. Bought something for my wife at Christmas and it was returned and confirmed by their warehouse. Now refusing to repay me having sent all the details they had asked. Been shopping with them for years. Another company who make it difficult to get your money back.

Really bad customer service from the get go. Super big hassle when returning a couple items. Way way overpriced for the quality. Will never do business with White company again.

I bought several items, one was a jumper labelled £77.00. At the till I was charged £115.00. When I queried this I was told that was the online price, the label was wrong. I asked for a refund and was treated like I was being difficult. I complained to customer services who offered me a £20 online voucher but were totally indifferent. I won’t be shopping there again.

Ordered something in error. Phoned to try to get a refund. Initially everything looked promising and I was assured I would get a refund within 72 hours. Then they declined to refund and now are ignoring my (polite) requests for a response. Very disappointed. Will never buy from them again.

Don't buy their electronic diffuser. Its exactly the same as cheaper brands but you pay extra for the name. Ours went wrong and just stopped working. They wouldnt replace it! LOUSY service!!!

Couldn’t have been less helpful. Ordered a robe that never came, after a few weeks got in contact and they told me it was out of stock. Have now spoken to 8 people on live chat and calling about a refund no one can give me a straight answer about when I’ll have it. It’s been 6 weeks since I put the order through! The worst customer I have experienced in a very long time.

Ordered furniture, after 3 months of waiting we rang contact centre many times, they had a different story each time about where our order was. They then cancelled it via email, i rang back and they said the order is still valid, but a new significant delay was going to happen. Do not waste your money with this micky mouse company

Waiting 17 weeks for mattress to be delivered only to find it was no longer stocked and wouldn’t be arriving . I was told this when I rang to check on order despite being told it was progressing on previous calls so goodness knows when I would have been informed Customer service offered a refund but yet to receive it Bad bad show Won’t be ordering again

Ordered a hamper basket when it arrived it was empty rang customer service explained what happened to late to replace as it was a Xmas present arranged collection the next day but still no refund 3 weeks later very poor

Your customer service is an utter disgrace. I placed an order with you on the 7th of November, some 5-6 weeks ago for the value of £531. One of those items, the Symons Nordmann Fir Christmas Tree - 7.5ft, Natural, One Size, never arrived and every time I rang to chase status nobody knew where it was or if it had been dispatched. I have since rang multiple times per week for the past 3 - 4 weeks requesting a refund, each time to be told I will be kept up to date, receive a call back and a refund request has been sent as high priority. Have I heard a thing? NO Have I received a refund? NO Not only do you not know your arse from your elbow in being able to track your customers orders or even know where the stock is, It is Christmas and you are holding onto £495 of my money and I want it back. Sort yourselves and your customer service out.

The products are great and really tempting, but they don't understand the concept of "customer service". Ordered some fabric samples for one of the gorgeous beds but 3 weeks later I am still waiting for them. Have asked for some to be sent out first class so I can make a decision between suppliers but no reply. How can I order an expensive bed and be sure they will deal with any issues if I can't get a few fabric samples?

I spent a fortune in Bone china set of plates Symon but they are faulty. DO NOT BUY THEM. They are meant to be dishwasher safe but after a few washes they look awful and not shinny anymore and with marks everywhere. I am extremely disappointed with the quality and the customer service received. I tried to escalate the case but I have being ignored. Customer service limited to say they cannot do nothing because I bought them 1 year ago but plates are meant to last longer than that right? I asked if they could at least advice in aftercare but not even that! Looking their website, they don't seems to have reviews and now understand why... I tried to write a review but there is not an option. Obviously their reviews are fake...

Shame can't give no stars. Products great but costumer services are more than shocking, had numerous issues over the last 3 years. Even got a gift voucher as took 6 weeks and numerous calls and emails to get nearly £600 back. Yet you can only redeem one voucher. The merge voucher does not work, aparently my pc. Or is it so you buy more?

I bought a men's cashmere textured jumper last Christmas for my husband. He has worn it three times and it was stored and washed according to the instructions. It has completely lost its shape and is no longer wearable - such a waste of £200. Do not buy this item as I note they have the same jumper in a different colour this year. I have tried contacting customer services but they have said there is nothing they can do as it is outside the 6 month manufacturer warranty. Really frustrating.
