“I used to frequent Wright Brothers oyster bars when living/working in London. I now enjoy their produce at home. If ordering oysters you need to be present when they are delivered as the couriers don't understand what "This way up" means! The fish is always fresh and arrives in good condition. It would be nice to be able to re-cycle the packaging and ice blocks.”

“Our first order was great. However, our second order was a bit of a let down. We ordered on the 27th June, the parcel was received by the couriers on 29th in the morning but not delivered until 19.02 on the evening of the 30th. All the cold packs were totally defrosted and the box smelled a little. We managed to use most of the contents (although some of them were on the verge) but had to dispose of the scallops as they were very smelly and black and we didn't want to risk it.”

Hi Salvino, Occasionally we do have to subsidise the odd product if it is unavailable on the day of dispatch, but we will always try to let you know in advance. If there is ever an item missing completely from your order just get in touch and we will rectify the situation. Our pickers and packers are pretty sharp, but mistakes can occasionally happen. “My order was misdelivered by your courier on Friday evening. I appreciate the redress that was provided the following Monday. However, my experience illustrated that, if a delivery set for after 5.30pm on a Friday does not take place, there is nothing one can do about it as neither you nor the courier can be contacted.”

“Wrights have perfected and fine tuned their home delivery service throughout the pandemic. It’s lovely to see the changes and growth. I love the flexibility of a well stocked freezer. Would never have said that pre-Corona. I was a snob - everything had to be fresh. Well it’s still fresh! Beautifully vacuum packed and delivered to my door. Spontaneous guests are welcome because you can defrost something direct from the freezer in a basin of cold water in less than an hour or sometimes two, and then you can cook it in the time it takes to sing an Ave Maria.”
