Our delivery arrived too warm - some of the fish had internal temperatures above 8 and one was at 13 degrees. Quite surprisingly the customer service option was that it was all fine and that we should get on and eat it. In the end, they did refund some of the fish, but not all that was spoilt. I could never trust this service again and worry that there is a lack of consumer protection for fresh fish deliveries when the supplier takes this attitude. Your response below was factually incorrect, the fish arrived at the following internal temperatures which you have pictues of. - mackrel - 13.3 degrees - monkfish - 10.7 degees - tuna - 10.2 degrees - monkfish - 9.4 degrees - salmon - 5.5 degrees - hake - 6.6 degrees - sea bream - 6.3 degrees I did put all in the fridge immediately, I have thrown out the tuna and mackrel that you refunded. I've opened the monkfish - which stunk and certainly not fit for consumption. It's not a great experience at all - made worse by your lack of care. I will be reporting you to food standards - as you continue to ignore that you have a responsibility to deliver fish that is safe to eat. And you don't care when it doesn't arrive in a fit state. -

Hi Daniel, Thanks for taking the time to review your order. The temperature readings you supplied upon delivery showed most items between 5 and 8 degrees which is the ideal safe limit. Two items, according to your readings were over the target of 8 degrees which you were refunded for. A couple were at or around 8 degrees and the advice was, that these items would be perfect if placed in the fridge straight away. Every time we ordered from Wright Brother's its always beautifully packed and so fresh. Definetely recommend it.

One box of 12 I had to dispose of because three were open and smelling ,,so I did enjoy the ones I had …Fast to get here ,how ever the box was damp. Had my suspicion then not all were ok. Shame.

We first sampled Wright Bros delivery service during lockdown when we couldn’t get to the restaurant and appreciated the convenience of fresh seafood to our door so much that we have continued using it. Food is god quality and well packed to maintain freshness. We particularly welcome the special offers which offer really good value.

Visited your pop up bar by Battersea power station ( coaling pier?) Had three beers only and after I'd paid I noticed a 12.5% discretionary service charge was included . I wasn't made aware if this extra charge before ordering which I'm pretty sure you have to do. What was it for as I stood at the bar and took away the drinks myself? Lovely location though.

Yes products arrived in a great cold storage, just a bit disappointed with a couple of my items in this box this is the first time it’s happened, normally things are awesome. Quite a few of my oysters were already open so I had to throw them and the lemon soles were very small. I will continue to use as the whole fish and other items are fab. I wrote to customer services earlier in the week and had no reply yet?

This was the most average meal we have had in a long time. Sadly - expensive as well. Over two hours to get food served. Mussels mostly closed and not fresh. Monkfish overcooked and two ribeye steaks that were not rib eye steaks. All sides very average and homemade looking - not in a good way. £300 for a forgettable meal. Nice waiter but not a good waiter.

The 25% missu discount wasn’t applied, not even after querying they issue with customer services. A couple of the jersey oysters were dead and crab was not as tasty as in the past I’m afraid. So feel quality is declining.

Hi There, Thanks for taking the time to review your order. I'm very sorry to hear you were not completely satisfied with everything. I have checked and can see that the MISSU25 discount has been applied to your order but two items were excluded due to being in the 'Heat at home' range - these were advertised as not eligible for the MISSU25 discount, but everything else was discounted accordingly. Our crab supplier has not changed, nor have we had any similar feedback in this regard. We are very sorry a couple of Oysters were dead on arrival. All products I've had have been of very good quality EXCEPT FORE THE SARDINES WHICH WERE TOTAL RUBBISH ABSOLUTLEY AWFUL. I DON'T KNOW HOW LONG YOU'VE HAD THESE FROZEN BUT I HAD TO THINK TWICE ABOUT GIVING THEM TO THE CAT.
