“I have used Zipyard on numerous occasions.I have found them to be both expensive and proficient ,at the same time.I have also used a cheaper alterations company,and to be perfectly honest,their workmanship wasn`t the equal of Zipyard.You won`t be disappointed.A very professional and articulate shop.”

“I have used zip yard on several occasions and have never had the need to be concerned about anything. Particularly with regard to my husbands beige jacket which was cleaned and pressed. He has never had the jacket dry cleaned and pressed so professionally , it was lovely. He will never go anywhere else. I have had several items altered, wonderful. Thank you Zipyard.”

“Took a maxi dress in that was made of a stretchy fabric that needed quite a bit taken off (I am a bit vertically challenged) before hemming. Lovely job done.”

“I had some wide bottomed trousers made into straight leg style. I went into a cubicle with them on, they were measured how I wanted them. I collected them a few days later and was very happy with the result.”

“I have used the ZIPYARD twice first time to alter the length of a pair of trousers and second time was to alter the sleeves on a jacket and on both occasions I found the staff very helpful and friendly. The Quality of the work was of the highest standard.”

“Seamstress skills are good. No problems at all. Ready on time too. But... They lost a belt off a Karen Millen coat. No contact or apologies. Rather defeated the object of having a zip replaced in an attempt to get one more season out of an expensive winter coat... without a belt ...”

Hi Georgia, I am sorry to read about your experience with the ZipYard. I can see you last used the ZipYard back in October 2015. I am unable to advise on the situation on the belt as the shop is now under new management and staff as of January 2016. I hope you will give us and the new team here a new chance and see the improvements in service for yourself. Thank you

“Very bad servise. They have ruined my dress and still charged me The lady on the reception said manager will call me and sort it out but they never did. It's very expensive and it's not worth it”

“After losing a little weight I had to have my outfit for my daughter's wedding altered. The alteration took only a week and the dress fitted perfectly. I would recommend the Zip Yard, excellent service and value for money.”

“I was very impressed with Zipyard. I needed a broken zip replaced on an anorak and they did so quickly and efficiently. I was able to pick it up earlier than the time quoted so I was very pleased I would thoroughly recommend their work and will certainly use them again!!!”
