“I'm not sure if this is good for people who wash with cold water. My mum uses Dirt and likes it, but she uses warm water. I only ever use cold water. I found that my long sleeved shirts, which get a little smelly around the armpits, don't get cleaned when I squirt this into the machine. They still smell like sweat after being washed. So I started squirting the liquid directly onto those armpits and rubbing it in before washing. Now the armpits smell like the Dirt liquid after washing, which is better than sweat smell I guess, but still. I'd prefer it had zero scent, and just was effective at cleaning.
Also, while the glass bottle is attractive, my housemate gently knocked it over on the laundry floor and it shattered very easily, despite the rubber protection bands.
I appreciate the reduction of waste ethos, but I'd like my products to actually work well too. I don't think I'll be re-purchasing this once I've used it all up.”
