“Easy to use product, but not always effective for prevention. App sometimes glitches, and post treatment assessments. Don’t usually come until several several minutes or hours later. Does not help with acute migraine.”

“I use the Nerivio for the full 45 min and just sit with eyes closed. I don’t seem to see results. I turn the strength up between 50-75%. Sometimes my arm jumps around a bit. Maybe it’s too strong? After the 45 min is up, I don’t feel any different. ☹️”

“At first I, to be completely honest, didn't trust the device. I tried it a couple of times it worked then I tried it more than three times and suffered a severe rebound migraine that lasted for three days God that was Hell. I was told I couldn't use the device more than three times in a week. Apparently I was miss informed customer service later told me. So how do you explain the Rebound Migraine?! Cause I sure as hell didn't hallucinate that. I mean I know I'm a recovering addict, 32 years 10 months clean, but I have never felt anything like that. All in all Nerivio has helped a lot!!!! It is the only device I have tried that has had the distinction of. Actually working!”

Hi Jonathan, thank you for taking the time to share your experience. We're so happy to hear you found Nerivio helpful for you. Yes - you can use Nerivio more than 3 times a week. For prevention, the recommended schedule is every other day (so about 3 to 4 times per week). If you use it acutely for a migraine attack on a prevention day, that same treatment counts toward your prevention dose, so you do not need to treat twice that day. On the same day, if you do not get relief or the migraine returns, you can do one additional 45-minute treatment (wait at least 30 minutes and switch arms). Any further use the same day should be directed by your healthcare provider, and more than 6 times per day is unlikely to help. Headache rebound is not a concern with Nerivio - it has no rebound headaches and no concern for medication overuse. If a migraine worsens after using Nerivio, it’s usually because the attack is continuing naturally rather than the device causing it. We recommend you to consult with your healthcare provider if this occurs again.

“The first device worked well, and helped me with the headaches. The second device would not work. I am having a 10+ headache. I tried to connect the NFC tag for more than an hour, and it still hasn’t worked yet. It’s not worth it plus all that money. I am throwing it in the garbage.”
