“It has eased my headaches. I usually have some mild discomfort still after but not a sharp pain. I m not sure how high I should go on the pulse scale. I tend to keep increasing it as I get used to it during the treatment but not sure if I should go even higher.”

That is a great question. Here are some tips on setting the intensity. In video format as well: https://youtu.be/7d5IkKxT9M4 Setting Intensity Since each migraine attack is different, there is no one right setting. The intensity should be strong, but never painful, and should be set within the first few minutes of treatment.    The + and – buttons on your phone screen allow you to set the level, and just after you start a treatment, you can repeatedly press the “plus” button to increase intensity until the sensation feels strong but not uncomfortable.  During clinical trials, the most effective treatment was obtained with intensities over 20% and with averages between 25 and 35%. If you do not get to 20%, however, do not worry, as long as it feels strong. Although the intensity may feel as if it gets weaker during treatment; this is normal and is just your body adjusting to the sensation; there is no need to increase the intensity further.

Start treatment early. • For effective results, you should start the treatment as soon as you feel the first symptoms of the migraine attack and within 60 minutes of the migraine symptoms onset (headache and/or aura). 2. Setting Intensity at the start of each treatment • Use the + to increase the intensity until it feels strong yet comfortable and not painful. • We recommend that the intensity level not be changed during the treatment. 3. “Nerivio takes some of the edge off of a migraine for a few hours, which is helpful. However, it hasn't ever completely gotten rid of a migraine and the moderate relief only lasts 3-4 hours.”

Thank you for letting us know. You may be having trouble with connectivity. Here are some simple steps you can follow: 1. Make sure Bluetooth is turned “on” on your phone. Do not try to pair the device from the Bluetooth menu. 2. Place the device next to the phone on a table. (If the device is on your arm please remove when connecting.) 3. Turn on the device by pushing the power button (green light will flash slowly). 4. Open the Nerivio App on your phone. 5. Select connect device. You will see a spinning wheel and will be asked to pair the device. 6. When the green “start” icon appears in the center of the screen, you are connected and ready to treat! If these steps do not work, you may need to restart your phone and try again. If you have any questions or concerns, feel free to call Nerivio Cares at 1-937-637-4846, Monday-Friday 8am-8pm EST.

“Nerivio has not gotten rid of a migraine yet but it helps just as much if not more than any abortive I’ve tried. I love that I can continue to function, especially at work, which I cannot do while using another neuromodulation device I have.”

“Love it ! It’s better then taking medication you can stay up and function unlike when you have to take medication that puts you to sleep. I love the video you can play while your having the 45 minute treatment and I can gradually turn up the intensity as I need to . It’s not painful , it’s easy to put on and just follow the app . I love the face it keeps a diary as well that can be easily accessible when your at your doctors and they ask how how your migraine’s have been now you can pull it all up on the app !! So convenient.”

“Yesterday i used Nerivio i had a mild headache. I didn’t want to take medicine i went to sleep instead hoping that it will go away. Unfortunately this morning the headache is much stronger and i have to take a strong pill to continue my day”

“What makes me give Nerivio a 1 star is that it doesn’t give me any relief on my migraine. The people who work there, communicate with us, etc. are absolutely wonderful and it’s the same on how the system works. I’m glad it helps on other people and provides them with relief, but it just didn’t do that for me. If anything it also sort of made my migraine pain worse. So keep up the good work guys!”
