As far as still having a migraine after your treatment: If your migraine headache is not aborted following treatment, you may administer additional treatments. We do not have a limit on the number of times you may treat in a day, though we have no data on daily or long-term use. Please consult your healthcare provider to discuss long-term use. “The app is terrible! The first time I used the device once I had to try and connect multiple times and finally got connected but tried to use it first a second time today and no matter what I tried I couldn't get the Bluetooth connect at all ever so just suffered a migraine without any treatment- also the device didn't actually help the one time I was able to connect! I would definitely not recommend nerivio!”

We are sorry to hear that Nerivio is not working for you yet. The Nerivio device is highly effective for many people living with migraine. In our pivotal clinical trial of adults with non-chronic migraine:   66.7% of participants reported a reduction of migraine headache pain to mild or none.   37.4 % reported complete relief of migraine headache pain.   46.3% report relief of their most-bothersome symptoms (MBS's) including photophobia, phonophobia, nausea.  ALL of these effects where significantly higher than those reported by patients assigned to the sham stimulation (placebo) treatment. Similar results were found in other studies, including adults with chronic migraine and adolescents with migraine. “After 3 uses no help. The first was as soon as I woke up with a headache, no help. The next 2 uses started at the onset with no positive result after 45 minutes. I will try again. Just wanted you to VPN know the current situation. Thanks, Bruce”

“This device (along with medication, depending on the severity of my migraine) has been such a life saver for me! Until now, I have suffered migraine pain without any relief, needing to let the pain run it’s course (which could be 24-72 hours). I usually end up with the device set to between 26-29 during use. My migraines now, last 4 hours or less!! I can use just the nurivio alone for a mild migraine. It’s compact and comes in a carrying case, so I have it with me at all times. I’ve worn it while working. The guided imagery also helps with relaxation, which can be a challenge while suffering migraine pain. Whoever would have thought that a tens unit type device, attached to an arm would help to decrease/end migraine pain??? It’s easy to use, and non invasive. Thank you, Nerivio for giving me my life back!!!”

“So far I have only had three treatments, but I have had no relief. My migraines get worse while I use Nerivio, and intensifies my migraines during use. My migraines are worse after as well, and I always have to use a triptan. My arm is also too sore to lay on afterwards.”

The Nerivio Pivotal trial found Nerivio to be a safe and effective acute migraine treatment.  In the Nerivio Pivotal trial the device related adverse event rate was 2.7%.  Device-related adverse events included warm sensation, temporary arm/hand numbness, redness, itching, tingling, muscle spasm, and pain in the arm. All device-related adverse events were mild, resolved within 24 hours and did not require medical treatment.  If you ever have any questions or concerns, please give us a call at Nerivio Cares at (937)‐637‐4846 Monday‐Friday 8am‐8pm ET.

“Nerivio has given me an easy and reliable method of controlling- or stopping - my migraines. I relax for 40 minutes while the device works its magic, and when the session is over, the migraine is gone!
