Hi Phannee, We're very glad to hear that you are happy with your colour, but sorry that your hair is feeling a bit dry. We recommend Tsubaki oil (100% pure Camellia Japonica oil) for dry hair. It suits all hair types and is brilliant for restoring strength, moisture, softness and shine to hair. It is a lightweight pure oil, which is easily absorbed by the hair and skin, and it is full of beneficial components such as oleic acid, proteins and glycerides. It is a deeply nourishing nutrient-rich oil that is free from fragrances, colourants, silicone and mineral oil. It is very helpful for dry hair (and it's my all-time favourite hair oil!). “I don't usually colour my own hair but, when lockdown forces your hand, I wouldn't use any other product than The Shade. Everything about it leads to a positive experience. From the easy to use website, excellent customer service, flexibility in delivery schedules that never ties you down and, most importantly, to the amazing product. The website assists tremendously to colour choice and you have the option to chat with a colour consultant if you wish. The product application instructions are well explained. There are no nasty chemical smells that you get with other brands and there are small sachets of a product that helps prevent any colour remaining on your skin. The shampoo and conditioner are fabulous and I have purchased full sized bottles of each of these to use regularly.”

“I have only recently started dying my hair. I am intrinsically lazy when it comes to things like this, so getting my hair dye mailed to me means that I have one less thing to think about. It just arrives and I know I have to do it. I also REALLY like that it doesn't smell terrible like the supermarket box that I purchased for my first ever hair dye experience. That was enough to put me off doing it forever. The Shade doesn't smell bad, and it's easy enough to put on for even someone as uninterested in the whole thing as I am. Plus, the colour is good. “I use light ash brown, my natural hair colour is a mousy grey/brown, this colour comes out quite dark at first, and even though it is an ash colour, it has undertones of chocolate. As it fades, it turns into a lovely strawberry light brown. I top up every 8 weeks. After years of using harsh chemicals my hair was looking limp and lifeless, a year of using THE SHADE, my hair feels fantastic and is growing thicker every day. The lady that cuts my hair has even commented on how amazing and soft my hair feels and loves the colour and shine. The shampoo and conditioner that comes with the colour is great too, and is now available to purchase, which im pleased about and will be purchasing once I have run out of existing product. The price is great too.”

“Great quality products! Every time I dye my hair it is easy to apply, smells amazing and my hair comes out brightly coloured and shiny. I switched from drug store hair dye six months ago and my hair has never felt healthier. I use their auburn shade which lasts six weeks and is still vibrant when I reapply. Having the little box delivered every month makes it so easy to maintain my colour, as I remember to do it and don’t have to stress about finding the same shade I used last time which is super convenient! Their packaging has become more plastic free over the last couple of months which is great. When you order your first box they send you a reusable mixing bowl, application brush, clips, clothes protector and a little protector for your table which come in a drawstring pouch. It makes it super easy to protect your clothes from the dye and apply it properly. I am trying to be more eco conscious so having tools that I reuse every time is great. 10/10 would recommend!”
