“The free sample of cologne (oak moss and vetiver) had a very pleasant fragrance, but I was very disappointed that it was made in China! For a British company, which produces lovely toiletries made in the UK, to import stuff from China seems odd. I try not to buy from overseas where possible to save the carbon footprint.”

While many of our core products are proudly made here in the UK, some items are produced overseas. This is often due to specific manufacturing capabilities, material availability, or to help us keep costs accessible. That said, we’re always reviewing our supply chain and actively looking for ways to bring more production closer to home and reduce our environmental impact wherever possible.

“The scent is pretty good, arrived on time as well. However, I didn't realise this was not just a 'Sandalwood' but 'Sandalwood and Tobacoo' soap. Surely that's a me problem, you might reasonably think but in fact other than being in small, on the packaging (which I saw when it arrived), Tobacco isn't mentioned in the name of the product or in the fragrance description or directly in the ingredients. As ex-smokers I probably wouldn't have picked this particular bar had I realised.”

“I was looking for a replacement for the equivalent product from Purdy and Figg, which did not require a subscription and was, ideally, cheaper. Unfortunately this one is a rather sickly scent andI wil not be buyong again.”

“Requested next day delivery and paid extra for it but that didn't happen instead I got the hand cream 3 days after purchase so did feel robbed cuz I might as well done ordinary 2 -3 day delivery. Really haven't experienced this before now uncertain if I'll ever choose next day delivery a second time.”

Hi, Sorry you were disappointed with your order. Next Day orders must be placed on our website before 12 noon (Mon-Thurs only) in order for them to get delivered the following day. Your order was placed Tuesday evening and was therefore shipped Wed and delivered the following day.
