I had planned a Europe trip a few days back and had made hotel bookings via Thrillophilia considering they are the SME in this space and would be helpful, but had an absolutely terrible experience!!!
1. Bad Service : Their service is very sub-standard and the hotel options that were given to us were really bad. Some even lacked basic hygiene.
2. Misleading information: They gave us a B&B as hotel option in Naples. B&Bs are not hotels, they're small inns run by owners themselves . The one given to us had no basic cleanliness ( there were cockroaches and rats there, hot water kettle had mould growing in it, no elevator , no reception, etc).
Because of this, an entire day of ours got wasted in an unknown location in trying to find another hotel + we had to make another hotel booking there leading to twice the monetary cost. We even ended up missing our planned activities due to this!
When we raised this to Thrillophilia team, they refused to even acknowledge that there was any discrepancy in the service and kept on arguing about how they've already delivered good service.
3. Sub-standard hotel options: Our hotel in Venice was dark and dingy without adequate lighting and there were moulds on the room ceiling! Absolutely disgusting experience.
We had a terrible experience with Thrillophilia and would not suggest anyone to use their service as they give misleading information which ultimately costs you time, money and energy and they don't really care about it.”
