I decided to wait and they told me they would get back to me.
2 month later, they tried to renew my subscription but fail (I have trust issues and for good reasons). Of course they have a loyalty program and since they could not renew my plan I lost my benefits but whatever.
14 month later, I contact them to get some news and I'm told nothing has changed; if I want my 32$ box, I need to fork 12.5$ of shipping per box. I asked them to refund the last 2 boxes but was denied.
I've since switch to another more authentic Japanese snacks box and now I can compare and Tokyotreat was worse than I thought; the new box is better in quality, the shipping is free WITH tracking (optional and costly at Tokyotreat) and guess what... JapanPost works.
Don't waste your time with TokyoTreat and have an unpleasant experience; there is so much better out there.

“What a box! I'm so pleased with our subscription. I was not sure at first, with ordering something from so far away but reading the customer reviews, it looked like everyone else was pleased with their boxes!
Our box arrived so so quick too! Within 5 days! Just wow! My 11 year old and 7 year old were super excited to see this arrived as was I!
Now I'm excited for the kids to go to bed so me and Daddy can sneakily try a few without the kids knowing 😅 But what do we start with? The box is filled to the brim of yummy treats!
