“We bought the Snow Peak Pack & Carry Fireplace Starter Kit to put in our camper van because it folds away so neatly. It's been awesome. We haven't had the chance to cook on it yet but as a fire place to sit around it is just the right size. Top quality kit. Heavy duty stainless and easy to clean and fold away. Delivery was quick and we especially liked the hand written note when we opened the box. Excellent customer service without a doubt..”

“Review: Rab Hiking Pants I recently purchased a pair of Rab hiking pants from Toms Outdoors. The service and communication were excellent. However, after a few weeks, I encountered a small issue with the pants. Thankfully, the customer service team was prompt and efficient in resolving the problem. “I typically don't like buying things to wear sight unseen but the staff at Tom's were very useful because of their ability and willingness to share their lived experience and advice using the gear, and I've always appreciated their honesty. To which, this is my third pair of Patagonia wading boots. The Ultralites eventually had durabilty issues. The Foot Tractors went to the other extreme and are indestructable, but consequently quite heavy, the Forra's are it for me. Much lighter and less tiring to walk in all day. The sole is also firm enough to support you scrambling over rocks without being too stiff. The last is noticeably narrower than the Foot Tractors which are very wide - I would say still a little wide but closer to normal width. Synthetic materials dry out much quicker than full grain leather. The only remaining question for me is long-term durability but only time will tell.”
