“It was actually pretty easy (although more costly than I had hoped) to put new glass into my insert. Two phone calls and we determined what size my old stove needed, the glass was ordered and it was on its way. The package arrived a few days later, and despite being warned it could be difficult to pull the door off and remove the screws holding the glass, it went like clockwork. No problems, and I'm very happy to see my fine through nice clear new glass.”

“Product appeared well & arrived quickly. On piece of glass cracked during first fire, but nonetheless I was able to burn during sub zero winter weather without issue. I have not had time to attempt to reach out for replacement.”

Todd, Sorry about your glass cracking. That is typically do to an installation issue. That happens when the glass is installed too tightly.

“The glass fit perfectly and was delivered in a few days. Just in time before the worst cold of the year arrived. Thought it was a little expensive but I appreciated the quick service. Not an easy install. Had to use torch and welder to get old glass retaining screws out. Welded nuts on the old screws and heated the area around them with the torch.”

“I intially ordered the wrong type of glass off of the website. The next day someone reached out to me to help correct my order because I guess they had a hunch I ordered the wrong product and then they sent the replacement glass the next day. The customer service on this was excellent and I'm happy to give Wood stove Fireplace glass my business again!”

“We purchased a gasket kit. The adhesive that came with it was so hard to get out and once the gasket was placed the door is almost impossible to shut. We will be removing it and looking elsewhere to purchase a better product. We now only use the side door for fear we won’t be able to close the front door. Terribly disappointed.”

Sorry to hear that. The gasket cement needs to be meaded in the tube - not sure if you followed these instructions or not. We keep up on the gasket cement using new fresh stock, but not to say that there might not be a bad one in the bunch. Sorry it didnt work out. Mike

“We went to two local glass stores who wanted to charge us exorbitant prices for a 6x8 piece of glass. The Woodstove Fireplace and glass folks had everything we needed at a great price, and we received our glass much faster than we expected.
