“Due to fly out to Palma 30/7/2020,found out myself that hotel closed until 2021, and that flight out cancelled. No response to emails or letters to TR,phone lines closed,awful customer service! Do not pay balance on your holiday!Avoid this company at all costs!”

“DONT DONT DONT BOOK WITH THIS COMPANY....STRONGLY URGE YOU CANCEL FINAL PAYMENT CREDIT/DEBIT CARDS..., -THEY CANCELLING HOTELS WITHOUT ADVISING THE CLIENT BUT STILL TAKING THE MONEY WITH ZERO COMMUNICATION IN ANY FORM EXCEPT THE PRE-SET COMPUTERISED PAYMENT REMINDERS.........DONT PAY STAY AWAY”

“Due to fly on 8/8/2020 been trying to contact you since 3/6/2020to no avail, airline have confirmed flight is cancelled as I telephone them as a last resort. I have been sent reminders for balance to be paid 25/7/2020 and holiday confirmation received today even though I know the flight is cancelled. Non existent customer service”

“We are due to travel in 5 days. According to Ryanair our flights no longer exist. I have now sent 8 emails over the last 3 weeks to find out what is happening and can we book other dates. They havent told us that holiday is cancelled. I contacted hotel direct but they couldnt deal with me as booked by Travel Republic. Phones are not being answered. No idea how to get hold of anyone”

“Sounds like we are all in the same boat with this company it’s absolutely disgusting!!!! We should be going on holiday on Monday the 3rd of August with final payment due last Monday thank goodness I was aware of our hotel closure and therefore had time to freeze my final payment of just short of 2 thousand pound otherwise this company would have still taken our money knowing full well with less than 2 weeks to go our holiday can’t go ahead ... I’m still getting final payment messages/ texts it’s utterly appalling with the current climate and people being out of work etc The NO communication is shocking !!!”

“My flight,has been cancelled trying to change dates or cancel no correspondence from them, no phone lines open case number and that's it, only time site is active is when you are paying money, and when you try to change dates with the hotel you can't as is got to be travelrepublic. I have sent an email to Martin at money expert to add it to his list of worst company”

“Supposed to be going on holiday 08/08/20, I contacted the hotel myself, they do not open until 01/09/20, travel republic still want the rest of the payment on the 25/07/20, can't contact anyone by email or phone, even sent a recorded delivery letter, still no help/response from them, it's been a nightmare”

“We booked apartment only for Cyprus with TR,,,,but we wanted to cancel the booking due to the current entry requirements into Cyprus. Despite numerous managemy booking requests and Phone calls (the phone lines are not in use) we are unable to contact them, Our payment balance will soon be due soafter reading the posts on this page i have informed my CC company to block any automatic payment request and cancelled my CC. We have used TR many many times previously and have always been happy with their service but we will be very reluctant to use this company again now.”

“You took my money for hotel booking knowing full well it was not open for 2020 holiday season. Tried ringing, emailing via manage my booking to change to different hotel but to no avail. Your customer service is non existent!!”

“We've been trying to amend our holiday dates since 10 may, they do not respond to email, you cannot contact them, our flights with BA have been changed from Gatwick to Heathrow, and they haven't even notified us! And to top it all on trying to look for a holiday so we can amend this one, I cannot find any BA flights as it seems they are no longer using them,which have been paid for! shocking customer service, do not use this company.”

“Travel Republic cancelled my flights then told me my booking was non refundable even tho they don't even pay Delta Airlines to you board the plane, had to do a chargeback through my bank to get my money back, TR are a bunch of scammers when the travel industry is back to some normality AVOID them like the plague.”

“Do not use this company i was flying the 22nd of July and only found out my flight was cancelled when I went to print the tickets off they won't answer the phones or contact me by email i fly in 4 days (supposedly) this is a shambles of a company never again will I use them and I urge you not to as well”

“Booked and fully paid for the hotel for our family holiday to Turkey in August. It was a fully refundable booking. Messaged them in March to ask whet my options were as worried about flight cancellations. Customer services replied to say no problem in moving the dates or changing the hotel. Messaged them again in May asking what the situation is if I have to cancel and got a reply the same day from customer services saying that the booking is fully refundable but need to cancel by the end of July or it becomes non refundable. The gent also said to hold off as the situation was constantly changing so the holiday may go ahead as planned. I logged on to my account on the 1st July to find that my May correspondence has been deleted and only showing details in March. I requested to cancel my booking and have messaged several times since and received no reply to anything. I have emailed, and written to them also but had no reply. You can't contact them by telephone as its a recorded message either saying the office is closed or they have temporarily suspended their phone lines. Absolute disgrace of a company and an Insult to the Emirates group of which they are part of. I am now contacting my credit card company to start a claim back.”

“took payment for our holiday on monday to go to prague on the 25th july, ALL GOING AHEAD AS PLANNED they said. go to do the online checking... whats that? flight is cancelled!!! no communication what's so ever. take our money and run. never use these again! AVOID!”
