I was unable to book a room using my usual credit card, with no reason given by the website. Fortunately I had a second card that I could try and the booking went straight through.

The city of bath was lovely it’s just a shame the hotel wasn’t. The room was not clean, the shower was useless and the tea and coffee facilities were poor quality. We ending up buying our own coffee and mugs as these were also not clean. Gluten free bread should be an available option very disappointed that it is not. Coffee and juice provided should be fresh not out of the machine. I will definitely not be recommending Travelodge to anyone. On the plus side your staff are lovely it’s just a shame everything else lets it down. Also do not agree with the £10 early check in especially when the room was ready, you do not get this anywhere else.

Booked online using debit card details. All went well until checkout page. Kept asking whether to save address. Would not allow me to proceed to payment page. No explanation given. Asked advice from central booking. Told to clear browser history. This didn't help. Didn't see why I should pay extra to book through telephone reservations. Tried once more on the off-chance using PayPal. Finally worked. But spent a good two hours to book accommodation.

very disappointed in our room. no extractor working in the bathroom, hardly any room to swing a cat, bathroom kept flooding, and no floor mat, breakfast was good tho, as we're the staff

Didn't have a great weekend at all. It was overpriced for some reason, I think I might know why but I don't think it's fair. I expected the car park to be safe and I found it quite unsafe, lots of issues actually, homeless people sleeping in car spaces and liquour bottles in doorways. The room was dirty, the bin hadn't been emptied with other people's rubbish, the bathroom floor had blood on it, the toilet wouldn't flush. During the night it was stiflingly hot but we couldn't open the window because of cannabis fumes floating in and noise from the restaurant below. Each night at 10pm a horrendous noise from directly opposite I think, one I can only describe as a truck full of bottles being tipped into a skip. The fruit at breakfast was extremely over ripe and scabby. We got turfed out at midnight the second night because someone set off the fire alarm. So really the £248.96 for 2 nights B & B I am really not happy with and really I think I'd like a refund.

Location was great but the room was a bit dirty. The loo hadn’t been cleaned and the kids found some old crisps under one of the beds. Also the shower gel dispenser was a bit dodgy and didn’t work very well.

Very disappointed that when I phoned about booking a twin room instead of a double as my daughter has fibromyalgia and I am her carer, I was told I would have to pay an extra booking fee if I book it over the phone. So just booked a double online.

Not very friendly robotic receptionist The traffic noise from motorway was nonstop. We hardly got any sleep. Shower was just ok. Not the usual brilliant Hansgrophe brand Most likely will not be staying at this particular travelodge again

Initially, I tried booking online. The experience I had online was indeed disappointing. Hence, my rating of 2star. While contacting the customer services, I made a booking for 2 rooms. All details were given and payment made. To my shock and disappointment your agent did not forward the reference for this booking. Following day I spoke with Joanne, she was pro active and helpful. I very much appreciate her efforts and help. Further, I made an additional request for 1 more room. The person was who took my call was professional and efficient too.. Mt thanks to him. Your live chat was non functional. You need to investigate and also improve this service.

Very frustrating during the booking stages don’t know if it was your end problems with the app or my end with internet.Took ages to get through to the secure payment portal.

The WiFi didn't work, the TV didn't work and it wasn't 32". The bed was uncomfortable and the shower had no power in it. The shower curtain had orange stains going around it. The only thing that worked was the Lavazza machine.. I won't be staying again.

My fault for not booking immediately but in the space of 10 days my room rate increased by £30 a night. Rather excessive for a booking required for mid September & making it a costly trip.
