“My wife has family up in Workington so we always stay here. My only reservation is that I would like to think I would get a bit of discount.”

“Have used Travel Lodge on several in different locations & have always found the staff very helpful & the accommodation more than adequate for short stays. All round excellent value for money. Will continue to use as & when we need to.”

“Cannot write a review as we were so annoyed to see the state of the travel lodge we did not book in .The person we dealt with was very pleasant .He showed us the room and no way could we stay in the room it was dismal and so cold .My husband has angina and severe cold triggers an attack I knew he would be ill if we did book in .Also the smell was awful we think it could have been your drains outside .I have never in any travel lodge or hotel seen such a dismal run down building it was appalling.We had to find another accommodation in dumfries .I am requesting a refund and am considering contacting health and safety regarding the matter .It caused us such distress as we had driven a long way .”

“Just based on the booking experience, it's a good website, easy to use and understand. What is difficult to understand is how the prices can vary so much from day to day when you are looking to book for the same date.”

“Lovely manager, extremely helpful. Room was fresh, clean and comfortable. Parking is available outside the hotel. Asda is on the doorstep if you need to get anything to eat/drink. Will be staying here again. Highly recommended…”
