“I have just found that a friend has booked the same place and night for half the price that I am paying. One would hope to get the best price from Travelodge site, clearly not the case !”

“Gosport Travelodge was exceptionally clean and fantastic friendly efficient staff. Great alternative to staying in Portsmouth. Less than 5 min walk to the Gosport to Portsmouth ferry.(approx 4-5 min crossing). The ferry docks near Gunwharf Quays shopping outlet and restaurants. The English coastal path can be picked up from just outside the ferry terminal on the Gosport side if you like walking. Lots of lovely walks. If staying a few nights it may be more cost effective to buy a bulk 10 journey ferry ticket. The ferry terminal is adjacent to the Portsmouth Harbour railway station for those travelling by train.”

“Greeted by a young lady who couldn't even be bothered to greet us properly. No smile, no please or thank you. Room didn't have hand-wash and when I asked for it when I got back late at night, I was asked if I would be ok for them to give it in the morning. My response was "and what do I wash my hands with in the meantime, if I'm checking out in the morning. Very poor and miserable experience. Will not be staying in a Travelodge again.”
