“We only paid £30 for the room so we weren't expecting much. Found a lovely little hotel tucked away and very private with one good restaurant opposite, just perfect for us. The hotel had new carpets and flooring everywhere, a good comfy bed and a nice shower. Maybe a little dated but on the whole a really nice night's sleep for a really cheap price. Will use again and would recommend.”

“Got a super room at a super price in June!! Lovely clean room and the lavazza coffee machine was a nice extra.”

“Staff were all brilliant and helpfull the room was clean and tidy with nice fresh comfortable bedding and towels only critasisem I wanted to take a bath after lots off walking and the bath had not been cleaned and had scum all around.”

“Pros - Clean room - good price - good location Cons - no shower gel or soap in the bathroom and the bath wasn’t properly clean - receptionist wasn’t the most friendly on arrival & when I asked about a minor issue with the room I was given the elbow & told to speak with the manager in the morning”

“Hotel room was like a Sauna, Outside of hotel was covered in Bird droppings including the Windows to the rooms, I dared not use the Hot drink facilities as the Kettle was in a terrible state, The bath was very small and the shower/whole bathroom needs updating aswell as the test of the Hotel as a Whole, My keycard needed te calabrating every time I left the Hotel, It would have to be something Special for me to ever Use Travelodge Again Very Disappointed in such a Large Chain”

“The website needs updating to include all information before going to checkout eg twin rooms section which i could not find at first. Also they advertise cheap rooms to entice you in. But i never seem to get one.”

“The worst travelodge I have ever been in. Dozens of people here but reception refused to let anybody check in even 1 minute before 3pm. When I enquired was told I signed a contract to say 3pm and then blanked me. Ignorant”

“not impressed with canterbury lodge, ground floor and no net curtains spent 3 days with the curtains drawn as there was a foot path out side and children looking in”
