“It feels to me like that are thieving robbing bstards! Booked flights which the airline later cancelled. Travel up refunded what they say was the fare paid to the airline in full but kept £75 per person of the amount I paid them. So no flights, not my fault and £150 out of pocket. Avoid at all costs.”
“Travel Up should be renamed Travel Rip Off !!! overcharging for flight changes I mean charging an extra £714 for a date change is unbelievable especially when the airline has confirmed their charge is £150 pp but Travel Rip Off charging £275pp for airline changing fee, not to mention the £75.00pp admin fee plus a made up charge of £7.00pp for fair difference when there is no difference, all of this I would say borders fraudulent behaviour. ??
Total cost of £2308.38 for 2 people on flights that are currently advertised for £1300.00 ??? Value for money I think not

Very bad customer service, Jimmy is his name and was so rude, saying that didnt care about my job and i had to reply straight away!Very bad! “My first ever review of anything - however, people need to understand that this lot are an absolute bunch of clowns.
Over 10 weeks for a refund (less a £50 'service charge'). They won't answer calls but may email occasionally (in text-speak) if you're lucky.
The cheapness of their deals isn't worth the hassle - avoid like the plague.”
“During booking their system revalidated the flights and added a 12 hour stopover. When i phoned to query this (less than 5 minutes after the email confirmation arrived) they told me it was my fault and i could cancel (£100 per person) or change the flights (£200 per person). I even have the screen shots of the booking up to point of pressing "pay". Shocking.”

“Initially my experience of TravelUp was good, including the price. I did have to call them once too to clarify my booking reference and the guy on the other end sounded clueless, which didn't give me much confidence.
My issues arose though when one of my connecting flight times changed. I received an email from TraveUp apologising and informing me of this (although annoying I know these things happen!) I was told to reply immediately as I was flying out within the next 24hrs and they needed to issue me a new e-ticket. So, I emailed to confirm and also rang , just to ensure they received it. I was told that I'd receive my new e-ticket within the hour. Did I receive it? No! I called numerous times and emailed constantly up until their offices closed. This made the start of my holiday very stressful. I had no new e-ticket by the time I arrived for my second flight and they initially wouldn't let me or my partner on the flight, it was stressful and embarrassing. Luckily, after around 10minutes of searching databases we were found, but not seated together for a 9 hour flight.
All could of been avoided if TravelIp actually did their job and sent me the new e-ticket.
I won't be buying from them again, I'd rather pay a little extra knowing that my documents will arrive.”

“AVOID! Booked online. Travelup took the cash, cancelled the booking, hasn't refunded the money, yet. We are now left without tickets, Travelup has our money, rebooking the tickets one day before departure is now obviously much more expensive. On top of this the agent insulted me, kept interrupting and of course didn't solve my problem.”
“Tried to cancel flights within 40 mins of booking - £75 per ticket, £150 total to cancel or amend. Bangladesh call centre with staff using pressure tactics, saying they're not open the next day and the fee will go up within the hour. They refuse to let you speak to a manager. Give them your money and they are in control instantly - and they don't care about keeping customers. It's a false economy booking with Travel Up. Avoid.”

They advertise a price for a flight, you go through booking system, they reject your card , even after checking with my bank all was okay. When you call them they advise the flight cost is now £150 more than they advertised???

Completely dishonest, call them up and get a different number every time depending on who you speak to and how much knowledge of their terms and conditions you possess. Rude members of staff in the admin team, insults on the phone and was told that I had misinterpreted what had been said in previous calls despite this being in email form and being given the wrong information. They will Withhold information! Then question when you ask for more detail. AVOID / DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY. This would be a zero rating if that was possible.

“I am finally confident that I have my ticket for my outgoing trip, but for a long time I wasn't sure. I regret booking my trip with Travelup because it took several weeks for the payment to be deducted from my trip and I was not sure the booking had gone through. Then the confusing contract and careless wording makes the customer feel like many different reasons might mean there has been no reservation at all. When I called, I was told I had 20 seconds to wait in the queue, and instead I waited 15 minutes, once being picked up only to be told that I had reached the wrong DEPARTMENT in the travel agency - with no interest to hear what my concern was. After reading many, many negative reviews I was scared of voicing my complaints, so I stayed very calm on the phone and was VERY relieved to hear that my trip was confirmed indeed. I will NEVER book with this agency again. Very scary process. Thank God I at least have my ticket.”

“I inadvertently recorded middle names of my children rather than their last names. This cost me £260. There should be the facility to amend mistakes free of charge if made within 24 hours or a minor charge of perhaps £5 per passenger for being stupid. Customer service reprensative was VERY unsympathetic.......I know it's in the Terms and Conditions but to err is human, to take advantage is shoddy!! Booked directly with BA in the end.... lovely customer service!”
“Crap! Unlike some website which have customer service available 24h, I was caught up into paying a flight ticket that from the start when I saw the receipt was with the wrong times, then when I was able to reach somebody I was told it was too late! Tickets were issued and no refund possible.
Another travel agent BudgetAir with which I had dealt earlier had reimbursed me within a day of my misbooking! Even when the ticket was issued.”
