Trip.com booking system is bad, app picked a wrong location and ended up not getting a reserved car at the same time lost $792 deposit, and of course Customer Service don't care, we won't be using Trip.com anymore.

I booked my friend a flight to Soa Paulo,Brazil from Faro,Portugal so she could see her family.When we got the confirmation we realised we’d booked it my name by mistake.. I contacted Trip and they explained we needed to contact the airline which we did.They told us because it was booked through another company we had that they needed to change it.. So,contacted Trip again who insisted they could not change the person travelling…all we could do was cancel. The return flight cost £664 ,to cancel they charged me £617..refunding me £47xx I am currently working in the US , but when I return to the UK I will be contacting the ombudsman. Their charges are absolutely scandalous..I had used Trip many times before but I will never use these cowboys ever again.. Signed Mr Angry 😡

I have been so called Diamond customer for Trip.com and have been using it for last ~3 years. I had faced few issues earlier around sudden price changes etc, but those were manageable. It was ok experience. Recently I booked flights from KL-Seol and retrun to KL. I had some uncertainty so I booked the tickets with FlexTravel plan by paying 160 RM per person extra. According to it, I can reschedule it to any other date without any change, I will have to pay price difference, if any. But I did not not know that it was a scam from them. When I tried changing, they were charging me 670 RM per person as change fee. Even without the FlexTravel plan, change fee mentioend was 331 RM. And thisis happening when my new tickets cost almost 3000 RM lesser than the original ticket. I have been following up with them on customer care for last 2 weeks, talking to their stupid agents. You can not reach/ call them easily, you will have to waste at least 30 miniutes before someone will entertain you and then they will have the same response that someone will call in 1 hour with the resolution but nothing really happens. I have never experience this kind of service ever in my life. Will never use Trip.com ever.

Airline cancelled our flight. Was told to try and get a refund thru trip.com. Trip.com did the absolute least amount possible to help us and just pushed back airline talking points to as for the reasons they couldn't do more. Never again will i use them.

My Berlin to Prague train ticket booking was really simple. The schedule was easy to understand, and seat selection didn’t take long. It saved me a lot of time compared to other platforms.

I booked a last-minute flight from Los Angeles to Vancouver on Trip.com. I was worried about availability, but everything showed up clearly, and the booking went through smoothly. It felt surprisingly stress-free.

I booked a flight for me and my sister on allegient to fly from Rochester ny to Punta Gorda Florida on January 25. All flights that day were cancelled due to a snow storm. Allegient could not contact me because trip.com did not give them my proper email. To this day I have not received any money back from tickets when I know they have been reimbursed by allegient and have been sent notification from airlines that allbflights were cancelled..I have also sent them documentation I asked the airlines to send me to prove my flights were cancelled. Allegient has beenbvery good in helping me with this even though their websites states that they are not working with third parties. Now I have my credit card company on it. I won't deal with any third parties from now on for the few dollars you save being burned like this is just not worth it!

The most pathetic company I have ever booked with, their customer support is useless, they always day we are handling a high volume of calls. They don’t do anything even when it is their fault. NEVER BOOK USING TRIP.COM. Pay a little extra but chose another agency.

Compared prices across a few platforms for Paris to Rome, and Trip.com was slightly cheaper. The discounts were straightforward, not the confusing “fake deals” type. That was a nice surprise.

They had cancelled my flight due to… They had cancelled my flight due to ongoing UAE bombings. Now I understand this is out of their control but they couldn't even secure a flight for me and my family and kept pushing dates back. We had to go to emirates directly to rebook and they got us on the 7th march 2026 even though trip.com said we couldn't fly till 11th-15th march 2026. Furthermore they didnt even know flights were cancelled and I had to inform them for them to know... ridiculous. They advised me on the service chat that the appropriate change for booking due to circumstances cost £179.90 which I was charged for, but then on the phone they said that was the incorrect procedure and I shouldn't have been charged. Even though they acknowledge this, they still refuse to refund or cancel the change and put it on the appropriate one. Worst company ever and they will steal your money and provide you no support even though they are in the wrong. We were seeing bombs drop in front of us and they did nothing to help but add more stress and hassle to us and gave us sleepless nights. ABSOLUTLEY RIDICULOUS LEECHES AND ROBBERS DO NOT BOOK WITH THEM.

I liked how the app suggested combining train tickets with hotels for my Zurich–Vienna trip. It saved time and made planning feel more organized overall.

Very bad !!! I bought a return ticket Mumbai to Goa for £65. Because of the war I had to cancel my trip to India. They obliged me to submit 2 different cancellation requests in order to charge 2 times the cancellation fee, even if I bought only one ticket return. Eventually they refunded only £8.50. I won't use this company anymore and I discourage anyone from using it, seems like its a dodgy one.

My Sydney–Auckland flight was delayed. On the website status of flights the update was accurate, and it even reminded me about delay insurance. That kind of detail really helps.

Pur di dare il minor rimborso possibile per dei biglietti d'aereo non usati (causa guerra in Iran)hanno diviso il biglietto unico di andata e ritorno in due biglietti (uno di andata e uno di ritorno) .Con questo escamotage hanno ridotto drasticamente il rimborso spettante ...Mai più con questa società.

Hotel choices in London were very broad, from budget stays to nicer business hotels. Room descriptions matched reality pretty well, which doesn’t always happen elsewhere.

تم تغيير موعد رحلتي من بانكوك إلى غوانزو دون أي إشعار مسبق. لم أستلم أي وسيلة تواصل لإبلاغي بالتغيير.المفاجأة أنهم عدّلوا الرحلة بحيث يجب حضوري خلال 4 ساعات فقط، بينما أنا متواجدة في سلطنة عُمان، ما يجعل الأمر مستحيلاً تماماً. اع المبلغ بحجة أن الرحلة غير “متصلة” لأن الحجزين منفصلين. هذا تبرير غير منطقي، خاصة نتيجة لذلك، اضطررت للسفر إلى بانكوك ودفع ضعف سعر التذكرة لحجز رحلة جديدة إلى غوانزو. عند التواصل مع خدمة العملاء، تم رفض استر جأنني حجزت من بلدي، ولو كان هناك خط مباشر لما احتجت لحجز منفصل. الشركة غيّرت الرحلة دون إشعار، وحددت مهلة غير واقعية، ثم رفضت تحمل أي مسؤولية عن الخسارة المالية الناتجة. تجربة غير احترافية ومخيبة للآمال. My flight from Bangkok to Guangzhou was changed without any prior notification. I received no email, SMS, or phone call informing me of the change. arate. This justification is unreasonable, especially since I booked from my home country and there was no direct option availThe updated schedule required me to arrive within four hours, while I am currently in Oman, making this completely impossible. As a result, I had to travel to Bangkok and pay double the original fare to purchase a new ticket to Guangzhou. Customer service refused to issue a refund, claiming the journey was not “connected” because the bookings were se pable. The airline changed the flight without notice, imposed an unrealistic timeframe, and refused to take responsibility for the financial loss. Extremely disappointing and unprofessional handling.
