Trustpilot formula is unfair! We have so many great reviews and still, our rating is slipping. They keep rejecting our clients reviews even though they are legit!

My trustpilot review for BitPay removed &o hidden On 3rd May, 2020 a review is published on trustpilot to bitpay.com. 3 days later, 6th May, notification received the review has been taken down after being flagged by their "automated" system, or content integrity team. Reason being: unable to verify the authenticity of the review. With option to reply to the team, "always happy to help" Same day, 6th May supporting documentation sent with ~17 emails confirming accuracy, integrity and authenticity on the review. Included, same matching dates, and other facts as expressed in the review. Live transaction reference numbers appearing in the review also confirmed as per the links in supporting documents and / or emails from bitpay.com on confirmed transactions. Accurate documentation provided from this end. A follow up inquiry sent 7th May as to where the review is now correctly re-instated on the trustpilot.com website. No response. A second follow up is sent 8th May. No response. I've found Trustpilot to be a most valuable resource and often look to it for reference and background insight as to how reliable and trustworthy businesses may be before engaging. Following this experience there is now some question as to the accuracy, and integrity on the team and information provided if reviews backed by crystal clear facts are dropped. So the review is published. Then 3 days later it's dropped. Then it's 100% backed by supporting documentation. Then Trustpilot goes silent. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ This is the review on bitpay.com ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ 05 Apr, 2020 after reviewing a number of crypto payment gateways, bitpay is selected primarily due to their attractive and simple offer, easy setup and relatively strait-forward integration requirements. Required information for checks, approval, and ancillary requirements is submitted. The application is approved and completed the same day, 05 Apr, 2020. So far, so good. Time and resources are allocated to proceed with the integration. Final testing is done on the 17th Apr, 2020, almost 2 weeks after signing up. 2 live transactions are processed on their payment network, as progress is made towards sign-off and finalization on the integration, as: * KYjezAXBFoN6vzRDZ26i7S * CPLkZj1DEgpwVvpyKj1eZy Literally hours before going live, the account is closed. Request for further information received as "unable to determine the type of commerce you and/or your business conducts based on the information provided on your application and/or from your website". That which is peculiar is the account was already approved (then it's unapproved). A response is sent on 19th. This is on a 3 day specified response window. A follow up is sent again, on 23rd Apr, 2020. Nothing. Non-responsive. Account closed. Gone silent. Before embarking on a sign-up and integration, be prepared in that your account may be suddenly closed without prior warning or notice. And without any response and / or resolve. And then given the "silent treatment". Mark Berchowitz

The website is impossible to navigate! I never even signed up because the site kept diverting me to an advertisement page for TrustPilot, then another, and another! Tried going to help page, diverted to Business Sign-Up page(which did not work anyway). Just an aggravating experience altogether. I would not recommend it nor use it ever!

I think this site is doing more harm than good for companies trying really really hard to stay afloat at the moment battling against trying to get, and please customers, with government saying what they can and cant do. Trustpilot provides a portal for all the very brave keyboard worriers out there.

Very similar experience to others with TrustPilot. I had an awful experience with a company (MadisonSeating.com) and posted my experience. The company has done everything in its power to take my review down, from saying I wasn't a genuine customer to claiming that I made "defamatory" statements against them. Neither of which are true, and I proved it to TrustPilot. Interesting it takes the company less than a few days to get my review taken down, and it takes me 2 months to get it put back up, even after taking the "corrective actions" within days of being reported. Then it all started to make sense. If the company is paying TrustPilot, who is going to have the most influence? You the customer paying no money, or the company paying money? I'm starting to lose trust in TrustPilot. I will update this if anything different happens, but I'm not holding my breath.

I review with honest and fair criticism my reviews have been removed because the company I'm reviewing has convently lost my account. I have proof of my last review which is in question for Vova. If you can to check these futher then I can provide you with at least once purchase. But convently I dont know how to. I will however keep up writing these reviews.

I'm becoming awful suspicious of trustpilot. Are they owned by Indeed? The very same place that is packed full of fake job links?

Of course, it's a useful service, but once you're in among the weeds, questions begin to be raised. Most recently, I added a review about an online seller. I explained why I didn't buy from them after I reached the checkout because what was advertised as a FREE DELIVERY service was in fact anything but. Rather than responding to my review the seller complained to Trustpilot and had my review removed. The reasoning given by Trustpilot was I hadn't actually had "a customer experience". This seems like a nonsense to me. I never claimed to have bought anything. In fact the whole point of my review was to explain why I my limited "customer experience" led me to choose not to buy. Trustpilot's stance is that you need to be willing to enter knowingly into a bad "customer experience" before you earn the right to alert others to it on their website: take a bullet or move over. For me it raises the question of what other collusion exists between sellers and Trustpilot. This experience significantly impacts on the credibility of the website for me. At some stage it will stretch beyond breaking point.

We posted a negative review of a business, gave them two out of five stars. The business complained and claimed we had never done any business with them, our statements were false. Trustpilot placed our review under "review", and requested invoice numbers for our payments to the business we reviewed. Trustpilot pretend to be some sort of a Global Supreme Court of business evaluation. Don't touch these guys business not even with a 20 ft pole.

I needed Trustpilot solely because of the seller ratings for Adwords and asked them about it. They told me, that I only need 100 ratings a year and cashed a lot of money from me. Only later I found out that they exclude organic reviews from this number and I need 100 per country....additionally their integrations are not AMP ready and thus useless for my page. Their website has a lot of errors especially in their reports which are often not loading at all. Obviously spammy reviews were not deleted. I requested a refund due to the issues above as I cannot use it at all except for the ratings, which are free anyways.... They refused. They tricked me and then offered nothing I needed even though I specified exactly what I wanted from the upgrade. Absolute liars.

I‘ve used Trustpilot quite a few times in the past, trusting they would give me a good idea with their rating about how trustworthy a company is. However, I‘ve seen that their reviews can not really be trusted. Go to their site and search for i-account. I-account is a banking platform which is downright fraudulent. Looking through the reviews from i-account on Trustpilot, you will find that without exception they are given one star only. Most comments inform you that this company is a fraud, steals money from their clients, and that one star really is too much for them, but unfortunately the minimum you can give on Trustpilot. Yet despite 100% bad reviews, Trustpilot rates i-account with 2 stars and an overall rating of 3,5 out of 10. An extremely questionable rating in my opinion. So better be careful next time you trust a Trustpilot rating.

I recently joined a website called 'Secret Benefits', a dating site. When I complained on Trustpilot that many of the profiles on this dating site were fake, Secret Benefits objected to my review and asked for confirmation that I was a member. I provided this confirmation to Trustpilot, who promptly deleted my review!! Secret Benefits pursue an active policy of protesting against negative reviews. Trustpilot should protect consumer rights to state their opinion. They have failed to do so in this case.

I really would like to use a service like this but it's not working very well. TP claims that they can't be sure that I am sending all of my patients to them so they shaved a star off my rating yet they don't offer a way to mediate that issue. The code they provide hasn't worked on my website. My patients have complained that they would like to leave me a review but TP wants too much of their private information and a promise to keep rating businesses--too intrusive. It's a great idea with flawed implementation.
