“They removed my review because they didn't think it was true!!! They are asking me to provide a receipt of the transaction or purchase to prove I bought the service! Only I am using the free version of it! I suppose we are not allowed to review free services!”

“If you collected reviews on Trustpilot you are not allowed to show them on your website or in any marketing materials if you do not have the paid plan. In my opinion, this is ridiculous. It's simply the opinion/voice of a customer and Trustpilot has no rights on the opinion of a customer to forbid us to display it on our website (even without any logo or reference to Trustpilot, just to add that). If you want to write this as a review on TrustPilot, they don't display it. They hide their own 1 star reviews but if I as a business flag a review that is clearly defamation they don't.”

“As other have said Trustpilot remove genuine bad reviews for certain companies under the guise of it being a fake review. I have a long transcript of an email conversation with Trustpilot refusing to publish my bad review of an Ebac product. I have provided them a copy of my order with order number and offered them a lot more evidence of my purchase but they keep coming up with different reasons to publish it - they're now telling me I have multiple Trustpilot account which is not true. I am reporting them to Trading Standards and BBCs watchdog as by refusing to publish all reviews they are presenting a warped view of customers' experiences with the products and I'd encourage anyone with a similar experience to do the same.”

“Absolute scam and shambolic company. I attempted to have their product installed which resulted in 6 weeks of no contact. I had to contact them numerous times where i was lied to and/or ignored. Too many warning signs for me - I've cancelled and gone elsewhere. I just know i dodged a bullet. Please, please, please - do not believe their 'Positive reviews' elsewhere - they *must* be fake.”

“What a joke Trustpilot are. An absolute scam. They merely protect their paying subscriber companies and remove everything else. To prove this I had 30 people leave negative feedback from bad experiences over the course of 3 months and EVERY feedback was removed. The same 30 people left positive feedback for the same companies over the course of the following 3 months and EVERY single feedback remained on their website. Needless to say, these people in addition to many others I am aware of no longer use this circus of a company”

“They allow poor business to keep flagging genuine reviews as false / harm full / non compliant. I reviewed a poor hosting company, they company first flagged my review as fake. I provided evidence even though the owner was very aggressive and made veiled threats. My review was restored. The company then flag my review as harm full, after a review Trustpilot decided it was not harm full. A few weeks went passed and again my review was flagged as fake. I contacted Trustpilot stating I had already provided several items of proof. Yep you've guessed it.... A few weeks later my review was tagged a harm full again, but this time my account has been terminated. I tried contacting Trustpilot for an explanation but so far they have ghosted my”

“"Trust"pilot deleted 2 times my review avout 2 differents companies because my reviews was "suspicious" for them. They didn't ask me to clarify (with invoices, mails etc..) they just deleted my reviews when the companies ask them to do it.”

“Any review I've ever written there was censored and removed. Even when I send evidence, like a copy of the County court judgement I got against Lambeth Council, they ignore me. Hoodwinkers that they are. Trustpilot has no credibility whatsoever. It's a laughing stick. There are phishing scams and spam posted there as "reviews" and they stay up, but my genuine reviews get banned. Ef you Trustpilot. Hope your website catches a terminal bug.”

“I'm in a different boat and currently battling or duking it with trustpilot. I just reported them to the authorities about this hostage type of stuff doing business. Long story short; I got a -1 review from someone who i did not do business with. The same reviewer left a -1 for another company with almost an identical name. In his review he states never to have recieved the product, blabla, but i don't run a webshop obviously. So i start reporting, 14 business days pass, all i get are AI responses, a judgement in that the "review seems ok and is not breaking rules" - i request additional documents - nothing. Not one response from the reviewer. I write to trustpilot in a nutshell that, the review is based on a non existing experience, and likely for another company other then me. They just leave it on there, lol. I'm starting to think this is the typical hostage, hijack stuff to grapple business owners to go for the paid packages in where such reviews would be removed. It's such a crooked, messed up company with zero morals other then their engagement on THEIR platform. People need to report trustpilot to authorities or at least organisations that can deal or battle with these.”
