Sammers of the highest level. They wil lremove ANY legit negative review on high profile custoemr of theirs like Klarna, no matter how truthful you are. They allow their clientel to falg reviews as braching Trustpilot guidance, when in fact they dont, and there is no way to appeal on that. I consider Trustpilot the foundation of scamming and they should be closed and their board never to be allowed to influence the reail public with a similar platform ever again.

This really is a filthy business they are running...utterly riddled with corruption. If/when the online review/reputation industry gets any type of independent regulators...Trust Pilot will be rumbled big time. We're a business who undertake plumbing, heating, electrical and drainage repairs. It's a hugely competitive business with a very high volume of customers. We attend over 150 properties a day. Nearly half of all our customers find us in printed magazines and directories and so if those customers don't search for businesses online, you can bet they won't review them online...good or bad. So after an upset customer created an organic listing for our business (can you believe this is allowed without proving they had a genuine experience), the page has just attracted more negative reviews. Obviously, as a business you cannot even respond or flag reviews that break their policy unless you 'claim' the listing. We were reluctant to claim ours for the obvious reason that half our happy customers won't leave reviews on there, but it was never going to improve so we claimed it.....what a huge mistake...and here are some of the things that followed; - We had a customer say we didn't attend their property in the same day and didn't refund the £42 call out charge. We responded with proof that we did...nothing edited by customer, flagged up again with Trust Pilot saying there was proven miss information published and they came back saying it doesn't contravene their guidelines! - We had another bad review where we responded and because the reviewer didn't 'like' the response, even though it was amicable, rather than edit their original review they have been allowed to post new reviews that appear at the top of the page...when the customer only had one experience with us I could go on and on but you get the idea. Mainly it's lies and slander that they simply don't take down. I've seen the articles online about John Lewis with one star and Argos with 5 stars (guess which one has a premium paid for subscription?), I've seen the watchdog investigation on Trust Pilot and I've just had the joy of reading these reviews. When your product is based on authenticity and trust it makes the crime even worse..taking advantage. All in all, a very shaky business model when you think it could be taken down instantly. Not a huge business really 71 million turn over, less than 700 staff...they're going to need a legal department bigger than that when the regulators arrive.

I used to like TrustPilot. But for some reason they have now stopped accepting negative reviews. Some recent examples include Giffgaff who delivered a phone where the battery wouldn’t charge, Hermes where they left my parcel in full view on my front doorstep. I also tried to review a network provider who’s coverage was poor (less than 3G). Despite giving order details, tracking numbers, account numbers, return details etc., TrustPilot won’t publish the negative review. I even gave details of Giffgaff accepting the return and issuing a refund, but even that isn’t acceptable. I’ve asked what more information is required but they haven’t helped. So sadly I no longer trust the TrustPilot reviews to be accurate and fair and reflecting all experiences. I’m glad I’ve found this review site. I’ll be using this one from now on.

I have tried to check the reviews on axa car insurance. You have 2 websites under each other one states 4 stars and the other states 2 star, now call me stupid but this has really confused me and has changed my opinion on axa and yourselves. I have been trying to get hold of axa for 2 hours making over 11 calls and each time i get a altermated messages or cut off. Your star ratings do not make any sence

Untrustworthy Trustpilot. My instinct is that Trustpilot is benefiting from being paid by benefiting companies. As a long standing reviewer I am disconcerted that it removes genuine reviews about small companies.

The reviews you put on are NOT a true reflection of some companies, for example Harron Homes which undoubtedly have a reputation of building poor quality houses get a good star rating because most of the good reviews are from people who haven’t even had there houses built yet so how can this represent a true reflection on the standard of there houses

They remove genuine reviews but wont take down fake reviews left by rival companies and extortionists!

Trust pilot removed a honest review based on the company who received the badish review asking them to.

Do not PAY Trust Pilot - despite paying, they have refused to remove a scam account set up by a competitor- the domain name blatantly goes to a web page full of the competitor’s adverts- and they keep removing positive reviews that they claim are fake because our customers don’t respond to their emails- no reason to think they’re fake and tbh not everyone checks their email that often or might have junk filters - so paying for an account is pointless- and it’s taken me weeks to ring customers to get those reviews- it’s utterly utterly soul destroying - if you’re going to get reviews suggest another platform

Horrible system. After creating an account and inviting our customer to leave a review, Trustpilot decided to remove more than half of our hard-earned reviews. Extremely demotivating...

Trustpilot cannot be trusted anymore! Recently they have stopped allowing genuine poor reviews. Even after submitting official documentation of the transaction they still delete your genuine review! Many positive reviewers on the platform have only posted 1 review, highlighting the fact that these reviews are highly likely to be not genuine. Trustpilot cannot be trusted for genuine reviews any more! They don't do anything to prevent fake positive reviews but genuine poor reviews are now being deleted. Don't trust Trustpilot, look elsewhere like reviews.io, forums, etc.

Trustpilot has silenced my review, becuase they said i was not genuin, even when i provided documentation to the effect. So it would seem liepilot had been bought and is simply a tool for cons and scam sites to feed money into to perpertuation fraud and misrepresentation. Trustpilot CANNOT be trusted. Simple. It appeals the one demographic, that of those with the money who can pay enough to hawk their online garbage to the unsuspecting.

Posted a genuine review about a rip off insurance scam, only for the company involved to have it removed without my knowledge, when I eventually found out and went through the process to have it put back up with all the documentation, I was ignored by trustpilot.

Having made a review on tombola you informed that you were not posting my review as it was not genuine. It certainly was genuine. Now you see all these positive reviews on tombola makes me think that to make the site look better the bad ones dont get posted only the good ones

I had problem with a company (an online store for a computer company in Gothenburg, Sweden) commiting fraud so I left a bad review on trustpilot, where wrote down my full experience with them. The company flagged my review and trustpilot support refused to cooperate despite me avoiding writing anything that might be against what is allowed and there being plenty of evidence of said fraud. What is the purpose of a review site when you are ONLY permitted to leave good reviews?! Isn't being able to leave a review, telling your experience with a company the ENTIRE purpose. Do I trust Trustpilot after this experience with them, no, I feel that their reviews cannot be trusted seing that they are on the company's side no mather what, allowing them the filter any negative reviews.

What and absolute joke and scam. I've deleted my account and will never use this platform ever again.
